I like the sculpts on some of them. Looking forward to more Arrowverse TV Series figures like some from Supergirl , The Flash and Batwoman , Superman from The CW as well. The DC Animated Universe figures of Batman and Superman I like too hopefully we get Wonder Woman next. For Future waves I do hope for The McFareline line we get more Films and TV Figures like a Christopher Reeve Superman , a Brandon Routh Kingdom Come Superman from CW'S Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover and Supergirl from her CW Supergirl tv series also a Henry Cavill Superman figure as well as for the comic book based DC Comics figures try to stick to the modern comics now and do the older comic book based figures later on down the line.

Looks good to me. Nothing wrong I can see. Sure the Animated series heads look a tad off....but really, overall I am impressed. Nice colors, improved articulation, double jointed knees.....
I assume they went for the A-List and I am very happy. Supes look Amazing. The sculpts look nice. Hopefully in had, the look just as good. I am glad they went for a diaphram joint. |

These are not very good.
Super looks alright but man, those joints look hideous. Batman's face looks so animated compared to Superman, doesn't work well together. His torso joint looks awful too. The animated figures, oh boy. Compared to the DC Collectibles, these are awful. McFarlane, boy have you slipped. So glad we're getting the Mafex because these are such a let down. I'll get Superman and that's it.

Someone should fix those torsos and those hips and I may consider buying those two Batman figures.

The figures aren't perfect but I'm definitely willing to give them a shot. Batman, Batgirl, and Green Arrow are my biggest wants at the moment. However, the animated figures are doing absolutely nothing for me.

Preorder link for modern Batman at Walmart. He's out of stock at the moment.

Ok, with the reveal of these additional figures the lineup as a whole is looking better, but I do think making every figure artist- (or even particular art-) specific is a mistake. They're not gonna look as much like they belong next to each other on a shelf as Marvel Legends or even Mattel DC Multiverse do, particularly in terms of the face.

This seems like a strange, ugly and inconsistent hodge-podge to me, but I haven't kept up with the books lately, so maybe the line would make more sense otherwise. Anyway, there's nothing for me here. I miss DC Collectibles. Wish I'd bought more at MSRP when I had the chance.
Edit: I just noticed Animated Superman's legs. What the heck?! McFarlane has slipped a notch since the gorgeous cinematic figures of yesteryear. Last edited by Skoob; 01-02-2020 at 02:33 AM.. |

Yeah that ab crunch is funky. I hope they adjust it in the future to be just under the pecs. They look good though.
