McFarlane Toys has secured the rights to make figures based on Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic series AND television series. They have announced the lineup for the first two series. Series one will feature characters in their comic book form and series two will feature characters as they appear in the television series.
Series 1: Officer Rick Grimes Michonne Zombie Lurker Zombie Roamer Series 2: Deputy Rick Grimes Daryl Dixon Zombie Walker Zombie Biter MTV Geek has the exclusive story with additional info. |

I'm personally not a big fan of McFarlane's stuff (though their Halo toys are really nice). But if they look really good, I'll at least pick a few of them up. Especially the Rik Grimes and a couple of Walkers.

This is awesome, but I would personally have preferred 3 3/4-inch myself.

I enjoyed the comic books and the TV series but all the stuff I collect is at a smaller scale so the line doesn't do me much good. Not a lot of 4" zombie figures out there so it would have been nice if it had been a company that does smaller scale with nice articulation.

Yeah definitly a Joe scale line would have grabbed my attention more
