I plan on picking at least a few of them up. Probably won't do much with the figures, but they look to be perfectly scaled for the Walking Dead Minimates, which I have a ton of.

Looks like there'd maybe be a bit of swivel movement where the parts connect which would be at the neck, shoulders, waist, and hips.

yeah those are tiny… I was thinking they'd be 6'' scale and was considering using them to make some sort of black series dioramas but now this is an easy pass. Really Cool idea though, just not into TWD enough to buy these unless they coulda been used for something else.

Ok, I'm a little lost with this play set thing. I just picked up the 5 figure set that Toys R' Us had and I see that each figure has a loop on their left or right foot. I imagine this loop is meant to pop into a peg of some sort. Now I haven't seen the prison tower anywhere locally as of yet, not sure if it has even been released. There are two Ebay sellers selling them for 130 a pop, and I'm not paying 130, no way. However, the article says that these figures are compatible with LEGO, MEGA Blok and Kre-O, but other than Lego, I have no idea who the other two are. Do they make something cool that I can use to actually display these figures?
But I'm hoping I'll find the prison tower for the price quoted in the article. I mean the Governor's room also looks pretty damn cool but I just don't have that much space. So far the only display play set I've seen first hand is the Daryl one, and I know I'm in the minority but I'm just not a big Daryl fan. |

Kre-o is Hasbro's version of Legos, and they do the G.I.Joe and Transformer's licenses primarily. They are primarily found in Toys R' Us only, as a lot of their sets are exclusive to the chain. Their playsets are kinda lacking in terms of creativity, are quite simple in design, and they simply don't look very good when you place them side by side with Lego or Mega-blok sets. However, if you're into mini figs, Kre-o does an excellent job with their playset figures and blind bags. Their G.I.Joe mini-figs are awesome (if a bit hard to find, because they're also Toys R' Us exclusives...) Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 11-19-2014 at 12:40 AM.. |

I went off in a weird direction with these. I noted they are very close to 1/35th scales, so I'm not only been repainting them, but finding 1/25th scale model stuff that works as props and scenery. And doing stuff like making real chains for Michone's pets.
Link Removed. - Toyark Staff I don't care for the lego aspect. I mean it was a nice idea, but it just doesn't seem to work out. neither do I like the little hook and stand dingus. However I do have a number of complete figure sets for sale or trade, in case you do not want to buy endless bags. Just drop me a line. Last edited by Joe Moore; 05-14-2015 at 08:03 PM.. |

I hae to admit the barriers are pretty crappy. The main logs come in small sections, and do not fit well, so that when you try and put them together, they fall or spring apart. Causing mild consternation. The figures are OK with it. I may buy a second set sometime and fill on the holes to make them just plain old walkers.

Got the Governor’s Room.
For me this is the most memorable scene from the comics and the TV series. I’ve given up on both, but this interested me enough to buy. It was fun to put together. Didn’t take much longer than 40 minutes and was pretty easy, but I enjoyed the novelty of building it. Bit odd that there’s no back to the chair, and that doesn’t appear to be a missing piece. The tanks are the real talking point. The heads look great with the added water, and the lighting works really well to give it a very creepy effect. It’s a small piece so really doesn’t take up any shelf room, but I doubt I’d recommend it to anyone other than fans of the Governor and this particular scene. |

Not sure there's a need to bump a nearly 3.5 year old thread for a now defunct toy line.
