Ash and Shep's faces look a little off but other than that they look to be up to par with usual Play Arts Kai.
Garrus looks simply freakin' bad ass. As he should be. He is Space Batman, after all. Last edited by TheLoudMaster; 04-17-2012 at 09:00 AM.. |

Mine is a Vanguard, so what is this "Omni-Blade" that is so popular? I punch things to death. WITH MY BRAIN. Also, pretty sure the Omni-Blade appears on the right arm. Just sayin'. |

If you're a sentinel, you get DUAL Omni-Blades. Plus on the box art its on his left arm. Shepard does have two in canon and I think when you do a grab kill he uses his left arm.

Play Arts Kai figures are about $50 each, at least.
I can't wait to get Shepard and add some hair and thicker eyebrows so it looks like my Shepard. It's going to be awesome. Also, I hope we see another wave of these figures. It bugs me that they went with Ashley instead of Kaiden....I mean, clearly, for marketing purposes, they needed a human female at the forefront (who isn't FemShep) since they weren't using Miranda in all the marketing materials. Ashley looks great, but she wasn't a part of my ME3. I'll probably get her anyway, but I still hope Square-Enix follows suit with more characters. I'm pretty sure Kaiden, Liara, and FemShep would be popular. If they're bold enough to do a wave three they could include Tali, Thane, and Wrex. I think the most Play Arts Kai figures from one "universe" would be Final Fantasy XIII, and the total was seven characters.

I think these are still technically prototypes, so there's plenty of time to improve the paint apps. But yeah, these are going to be so freaking sweet... We must support this endeavor if we are ever to receive Tali!

Haha...I was just trying to list the characters I thought were the most popular by majority. Not necessarily my picks, for sure.
Actually, I forgot about Mordin. He's more popular than a lot of the other squadmates and would most likely be make into a figure before someone like Wrex. I think figures of James and EDI would be awesome, but I don't know if they're more popular than characters like Thane. Even if Thane isn't a playable squad member in ME3, people talk about him much more favorably than EDI or James.

ashley died in mine, so she's an easy pass. Garrus looks fantastic. Love the armor on sheppard, but thats not my sheppard. Play Arts Kai generally do incredible things with their sculpts so I do want these, but they are probably all gonna be passed for various reasons.
Really wish PAK figs came with more accessories, I want the sheppard, but as he doesn't look the way mine does he should at the very least come with a helmeted head, same with the other characters. Articulation generally suffers as well with single joint elbows and limited ankly movement. Quality control is also a big thing for me, I haven't messed with a Play Arts Kai yet that didn't have floppy joints or paint errors. QC and accessories have really plagued the line for some time, I'd love to pick these up, but they just don't provide the same sort of value for their money that I feel I get from something like an SIC which is really unfortunate. |

HELL YES! Will get Sheppard and Garrus, just wish both had their masks/helmets! WTF?
Thane and Grunt would've been cool too, you need the Krogans! Kasumi Goto and Miranda too!

I am extremely happy about these figures, but I gotta agree that the head sculpts can use work. Definitely buying all of these though. I cancelled all of my DC Unlimited orders after seeing these.
