They never change. They say they want to, they say they will. But they never do.

Yes sir I definately possibly understand that your problem is important but honestly I have no idea how to speak english or care what you have to say thank you sir I am ending this call.
Didn't toy guru say they were switching to U.S. based phone people 2 or 3 lie sessions ago? I am not demonizing foreigners Most of the united states based phone reps are even bigger jerks, at keast the foreign support acts like they want to help you. If you are going to work at a business where your primary customers are english speaking learn the launguage better. |

Easier subscription management: We are pleased to announce that we will be presenting you with a fully tested and certified self-service subscription management feature in late fall of 2012, ensuring that it is fully available for our 2013 subscriptions! What does this mean? You will be able to log in to your account and manage your own subscriptions with ease. Updating your credit card, as well as your billing and shipping addresses will be simple and under your complete control. You also will be able to combine your subscriptions for one monthly shipment. (Of course, if you want to ship your subscription figures separately, you will be able to do that, too!) Our goal is to ensure that you have the tools to easily control your subscriptions via Mattycollector.com
Someone care to explain to me in non business-esse what the hell this means?! |

Alot of nebulous jibber jabber they can reference later in case that the service actually gets better.
And why would you want to ship orders seperately one of the biggest complaints is the not combined shipping, I guess they are going to allow you to ship items seperately to make even more money. |

This also sounds like "If you were F***ed in the past, well too bad, we're moving on."
If they really do take action to rectify (who are you kidding? We already know they're not) it's only because they are finally feeling it in their wallets. Toy terrorists indeed. |

Someone care to explain to me in non business-esse what the hell this means?! Look, we get that you customers had lots of trouble with Digital River not getting your address right and not charging the right credit cards. So, instead of making the employees do their jobs right, we're improving customer service by making a web page where you can do their job for them! Yep, no more relying on them to screw things up. It's up to you now to get it right. As an added bonus, with your subscription, you'll get higher prices and more expensive shipping! BUY NOW!!

Agreed, "too big to fail", or so they think.

Yeah, they are doing such a great job that I received this email today:
Thanks for ordering from MattyCollector.com. At your request, we've initiated a return request authorization. This authorization will expire in 30 days. We want to make sure you're properly credited, so please return the product(s) on or before the Return Due By date below. Here's a summary of your return: When this is what UPS shows: Returned On: Friday, 07/27/2012 at 10:30 A.M. Left At: Dock Signed By: BRENT Hmmmmm, something seems very wrong here... |

Wow, this just keeps getting better and better. They can only refund me $31 of the $45 order. -_- I'm pretty sure that is illegal.

Wow. The worst part is people will keep buying their product.
I'm having a great deal of fun hunting for the TDKR product, but the stuff from that trilogy is the only thing I've bought from them in literally over ten years. As soon as I'm finished, I may never buy a thing from them again. If I could afford the Hot Toys, I'd just piggy-back over these figures anyway. |

I would if I could. It's just insanely unwise for me at my current point in life to spend that much on single figures. If I had that much disposable income, I'd totally go backwards too, getting Two-Face and all the others. The thought of collecting them has been tempting, especially because of that Bane coming out, but I have to avoid the temptation. I know I wouldn't quit at just a few.

I couldn't drop everything else, personally. I could drop most things, but nothing beats the random toys here and there I can get because I'm not spending $500 a year on two figures haha.
But more power to you, I say. I'd rather not give Mattel any more money than I already do. |
