Geez. Mezco can't nail a likeness to save their lives.

It's always fun to see a new Mezco post here and all the people who flock simply to hate on them.
Yawn... Awesome looking figure, only bummer is it's a Mezco Exclusive so will sell out fast once it goes up and probably be a pain to get. I'm sure there will be some kind of standard version made too though |

Definitely getting this. Though funnily enough I can see myself mainly displaying him with a handgun and little else. I do hope he comes with double elbows, mainly because it would help for a lot of aiming gun poses.

Left head looks like Steven Segal and the right head looks like Snape from Harry Potter haha.

Personally, I own several One:12 Collective figures, including Judge Dredd and Jason Voorhees, and they're all great, high-end figures. But it helps that the characters I have Mezco figures of aren't based on actors, so strict likeness problems aren't a factor. So sorry if I hurt your precious little feelings. |

Mezco has consistent issues with nailing likenesses of real-life actors. I could post a number of examples. Simply pointing this out is not "hating" on them in any way whatsoever. I mean, who does? I never see this imaginary hate that you're claiming.

No feelings hurt here, but that's cute you're so worried about me |

I ordered it, but I agree, the sculpt isn't terrific. Mezco's generally aren't IMO.

I'm mixed. I think I'm more interested in the accessory spread than the actual figure. The market on John Wick figures is surprisingly competitive and I'm half wondering if my desire for this one is more rooted in missing out on Gomez

Everyone went crazy for Gomez but seem lukewarm on this. I don't get it. This figure is way better than Gomez! 1- it's not a cockroach 2- the accessories on this are like Gomez's on steroids 3- it comes with a cool dog 4- this is the definitive version of John Wick. It's what I picture when I hear the name 5- it's not a cockroach! I think the head sculpts that Mezco does are some of the best in 1/12 scale. Considering all you get the price seems fair to me. It's comparable to other high end 6" figures. I am looking forward to receiving mine sometime next year!

It's still up for pre- order. So a tip of the hat for Mezco. It looks as if everyone who wants one will get one. Not like some of the previous MDE's. I hope that will be the case for all future MDE's

Wow, the first time Mezco decides us insignificant people who don’t reside in the US might want to buy one of their figures and I don’t think I want this. The only thing it has over Mafex is more accessories so, with that and the Hot Toys version, I think I’ll be all set.
Now rerelease the exclusive deluxe Punisher and Joker worldwide and maybe I’ll bite. |
