I know Mezco came out with limited editions and they are sold out but now the standard version is sold out. Is this supposed to be limited? Thanks.

How big is 1:12? I just don't get why these specialty companies can't use simple inches like every other toy company does. Is that why they charge so much? They use some fake sophisticated sounding height as an excuse to charge like $300 for a 10 inch statue?

The Batman is a little over 6" tall. Also, the Batman is $65, not $300. This is a limited release figure as far as I know. Mezco gave no indication that there will be multiple production runs. The Previews Exclusive version is supposed to hit later this month, which is the one we'll be reviewing/shooting.

It's also an amazing figure. I have the Black and grey version and it really is a game changer in the 6" scale. If you have the funds and love the Bats (Especially TDKR Bats) then you need to seriously consider taking the plunge on this.

2. $65 is a lot for a 6 inch toy. Especially one that is not from another country.

I got the standard version earlier this week and have been really happy with it. I wasn't completely sold on the figure until I had it in hand. Definitely worth the money considering all the accessories it comes with and how well the costume turned out.

I wanted to buy one of the exclusives (dark blue cape / original logo), but disliked the stipulation that you had to open a special PO box for international orders, so reneged. If they want my money, they'll ship direct. Note the lack of a specific quantity for the "limited edition." It should come as no surprise if more become available through regular channels. In the meantime, resellers in the secondary market seem to be making out like bandits.
