No problem! I know Mezco IP's aren't ideal for a lot of people but I think he is definitely a cool character and I can see lots of people turning him into some sweet customs. I just keep hoping that the love they're pouring into these IP's will start to show up more with their other licenses. I think Nosferatu was overall a pretty good success for them but then John Wick was a pretty big step back.

Also dick move by Mezco cutting XL and XXL options for the shirts. I don't care for them anyway but it seemed odd they only offered up to L on shirts this time. Last edited by notoriouslyhigh; 09-09-2020 at 10:39 AM.. |

Same here. Was signed in on the page right when it went live and the site immediately timed out and it was about a good 30 minute battle trying to get through the loading screens and refreshing after timing out and even having my card, which I've been using with them since I opened my account, rejected 5 times in a row but finally I got my order placed. I might just have to switch to PayPal for payments going forward. I find it baffling that it'll reject my card over and over then randomly decide it's going to accept it.

I had the same problem. Eventually I did get through but only to be put on the waitlist. That has NEVER worked out for me.

Also to Grant, Waitlist has been more successful lately so don't be discouraged by it. I hope it converts and you're able to get it. |

The Armor covering his ab crunch actually bothers me a lot more having him in hand. Still a nice looking figure and it's Gambit- best X-Man ever. Did some part swapping- the Mezco Jacket works well on ML Gambit since it doesn't bunch up on the fabric arms and the looser Toybiz coat opens up the articulation a bit on Mezco Gambit. Overall i think ML Gambit will keep the spot on the X-Men shelf and Mezco Gambit will go... somewhere...

The Mezco items on the ML Gambit does look good but aesthetically the Mezco body and chest plate is so much nicer. No lines on the thighs and waist. There seems to be this hangup on the ab crunch articulation but anyone wearing chest armor can not crunch their torso anyway.

...and Gambit is an AMAZING looking figure- people that care about these things are just tired of Mezco giving 90% and being SO CLOSE to perfect. Not a problem on a $20 toy but something that's frustrating dropping $100. He's still worth it if you are a fan of the character (I am- best X-man ever) but all these little things- Harley's bad wrists, Magneto's scale, Gambit's ab crunch, single-joint elbows, John Wick in general combined with the ever steady price increases for un-asked for add-ons... are making it harder and harder to be a supporter. But as always- you do you- I'm glad the lack of an ab crunch doesn't bother you.

I'm waiting on Gambit and i'd easily sacrifice the slight articulation for the lack of sacrificing the aesthetics. There is no denying that it simply looks better when there is no cut in the chest armor or thighs as evidenced in the Legends figure.

I believe I have deduced the next potential figure/member release for Mezco's Rumble Society. I feel dumb for not connecting the dots with the hints Mezco was dropping for Doc Nocturnal. The silk screen print was obvious and I think there was even some art of him included in the Baron Bends mini-comic. It all seemed so non-descript that it just went over my head. That said I now pay more attention and I think that this guy is next.

I think you mean the ones on the t-shirt. Only that Frankensteined gorilla made from one of their skull island kong figures and the custom reporter made from a marvel legends Agent Carter appeared in the stop motion. But I agree on them looking more like just a kitbash of any of their suited figures with weird heads for them to be released unless it's done as a two pack. But I like what I see of "Slugfest". He reminds me of the Rocketeer.

Looks like a black and silver variant of Supreme Knight is going up for pre-order 9/19 for Batman Day

Gotta say, I wasn't interested in this Batman based on the teaser image but now I really want it after watching D Amazing's review.

The interchangeable Symbols is cool- but the video really just confirmed I have no desire to add black n silver Bats to the shelf... not at the current Mezco price anyways. $30 or so and I would be all over it.

Order process started out easy enough, but then froze at checkout and timed out. Was able to get back in relatively quick though and it finally went through.
I really wish they could've discovered this magnetic chest piece/cape swapping sooner because now I wish all my Batman figures had it! |

Finally got my order from BBTS for the Mezco Gambit and wow, what a figure! Replaced my Legends Gambit on my main X-Men display and put one of the Mezco head sculpts on the Legends Gambit for another display. Beautiful figure and almost everything about it is perfect.
