I’d like to see more Batman. I really want to know which version they were showing in the teaser. Probably the second part of Mezco’s Bat-trilogy. But I’ve read that Mezco teased a Keaton Batman when they first showed the DKR Batman and the cowl in the teaser from last month looked like Keaton’s. I’d also like to see the actual variants of the Ascening Knight Batman before they get released.
I’d also like to see an updated Wonder Woman instead of the prototype. |

This might be my first Batman Pass. He's too realistic to fit in my comic display and not enough so to fit in my movie display.

I'm digging the Batman. He has a BvS vibe to him, but I think looks unique enough to stand out on his own with the other Batmen of this line. I'm excited to see the variants this guy will produce now

This is just my personal opinion, but I think they did a good job on Shazaam and Black Adam. Just my .02¢. i love the Batman they showed off! Wishing it was Keaton, but it still looks great!

Agree here, also got my PX Deadpoool in the mail yesterday, I opened him immediately and could hardly put him down between beers. So smooth of a figure.

Got my first Mezco 1:12. Mirror Spock. On the one hand, the detail and sculpt is amazing. On the other hand, the soft goods really inhibit the articulation... i don't think i can go all in on these guys, but just a one-off figure here and there to play around with could be ok.

I really fell in love with this line.. of course the price is quite high, but ever since i saw that Green Arrow / Arsenal's flabbergasting arrow-shooting shot, i simply can't hold myself. Long story short, now i have both Green Arrow and Arsenal, plus the regular release Wolverine (the one with Muramasa sword). I'm very satisfied with them so far (eyeing Captain America as well here lol).
As much as i love it though, there's a growing concern within me. I never had a Hot Toys before, so i don't have any experience in keeping this kind of highly detailed with soft-goods clothes figures for a long time. I heard (may be wrong though) that there had been cases on Hot Toys figures which in the long run had the clothes torn off, especially those with leather-like material. Any thoughts on this ? And perhaps tips to keep the figures in good condition for the long term ?

Mezco has primarily used fabric for the majority of the costumes they have made which solves a lot of the problems with Hot Toys figures. There is a concern that some figures like Deadpool, which has the black pleather on the sides of his costumes, will show creases or wear-n-tear over time. But most figures should be ok. After the DKR Batmans, Mezco loosened the costumes just a bit to increase the range of movement and prevent the fabric from ripping when posed. Many figures also now use plastic chest symbols instead of the printed on variety to ensure that they will hold up. |

John Wick was definitely a surprise, but a pleasant one
X-Force Deadpool arrived today and he's awesome! Not sure how much I like the harness...kinda wish they duplicated the same one regular Deadpool used for this one and the X-Men exclusive BUT all in all he looks great and poses easily Last edited by notoriouslyhigh; 02-14-2018 at 10:48 AM.. |

I've heard that some of the Hot Toys Batman figures will disintegrate over time due to the costumes being a molded material (to better show his muscles). I'd also heard that Star Lord from GOTG Vol. 1 had a coat that was partially glued together instead of being sewn. The coat came apart due to sitting for too long in a shipping container in the heat. And some reviewers typically mention that they are worried about leaving figures in action poses for fear of damaging pleather or molded bodies.

So Toyfair is this weekend. Will we see a Mezco Toyfair one:12 exclusive? What do you think? I hope we do!

Same, I am surprised they have not jumped the gun, and given us one more 1:12 before the show starts.

So far I've seen Jim Lee style Cyclops, Comic Cable, Season 1 Daredevil, Punisher Season 1, and Season 2 DD, Movie Blade and that's it so far.

That's not movie Blade, that's comics Blade. Blade's been wearing costumes similar to the movie one since the movie came out, so not too much difference, but you can tell by the fact that it's not a Wesley Snipes likeness.

The Ascending Knight Batman is looking really good. I'm not sure if I missed it yesterday or if it was added later but there were a couple of shots of the PX Ascending Knight Batman on display in the DC gallery. Maybe it's the camera flash but I don't care for blue used. You can also catch a little bit of the PX Wolverine in the shot.
