I didn't think so, but it's still not showing on BBTS

This looks really promising to me, but I'll want to see images of the final shelf product. It needs to resemble Englund.

I don’t know about this Mezco....
I bought the Michael Myers, because it’s the only 1978 Myers made recently. I bought the Jason Voorhees, because I’m a diehard F13th fan. Freddy though? Not sure yet. I will say, the removable face plate that reveals a skull face is a nice touch. I think they may struggle with that sweater being too big. I think that’ll be their biggest hurdle. I too will have to wait and see the final product. |

This might be the first mezco one I buy, although Alex from a clockwork Orange is a big want as well.

The sweater design looks very off. And it does fit baggy. I also don't see what this figure adds to what NECA has already accomplished for significantly less.

I'm just not digging the head sculpts or the left hands selection. I would be fine with the baggy sweater, as it was fairly loose in the original film, though the collar is too large and it's just too clean looking. Also, a trash can lid feels like it's included just so they can say it comes with an accessory.

I'm sure we'll get other versions of Freddy from them down the line but this really feels like it should've been a Previews or Con exclusive, with a more traditional Freddy (with arm stripes!) as a standard release.
