Wonder Woman! Wolverine! Iron Man (is that their first all-plastic One:12 figure?)! Doctor Strange! Mezco is killing it! Love what they're doing!

Glad I haven't opened my Mafex Wonder Woman yet because Mezco looks like they've won the shelf spot. Only issues I have are that her head seems pretty big and the arms are a bit anorexic. Netflix DD must also be mine and if Netflix Punisher follows I won't be able to resist. His black-eyed, beaten and bloodied face would be amazing.

Oh lord I can't wait for that Iron Man, Netflix DD, Wolverine, Batman... Man, Mezco came out swinging yet again.

I don't like the Ash head sculpt at all. The Dawn of the Dead figures, tho, are perfect looking.

People keep hating on that Batman but I think Mezco has done an awesome job blending his original costume with a more Year 1 kind of feel

Don't care what people say, that Batman is really sweet looking. I had heard the Ghostbusters they have been showing off are still early prototypes, was hoping for something a bit more polished because they were what I was most looking forward to and they are a bit underwhelming at the moment.

Does anyone know what happened to the Classic Punisher they showed off at Toy Fair and SDCC last year?
Did they cancel it, or is it gonna be a con exclusive, or what? Because we haven't heard anything about it for a while, and that's the one version of their Punisher I wanted. |

The "realistic" Popeye figure is creepy as hell.

If I had to choose only one Jason, I'd say Part 3. With an NES-colors Previews Exclusive!
Part 7 would be pretty amazing too. Make both of those and a Part 2, and I think we'd have all the bases covered...though I'd really want all of them. |

Their figures look great, but boy do they suck at face sculpts of real people. We already saw that Harley Quinn looks nothing like Margot Robbie. That Ash looks more like Keanu Reeves. That Wonder Woman...I have no idea who that's supposed to be. They all look like caricatures of real people.

I'm glad the Ash looks like crap, because I normally get anything and everything Ash related. This will be easy to pass on.

Yeah, they should made him more cartoony. I have plush doll of Popeye with plastic head from my childhood, he looks nicer face wise.
I like that Iron Man, he reminds me of the original cartoon I watched as kid. Also, he doesn't have that weird mix of plastic and clothes. But he would probably cost a lot as much as those who have this weird mix. As for Wonder Women, if I wanted one I would've bought the Mattel version who have DOUBLE joints and brushable hair (as much as I dislike action dolls with plastic hair, I hate it ten times more for female charcters and find it unacceptable. Unless it stylized like the cool Three A ones), not to mention cost less or about the same price and is bigger..

I'm handpicking figures from this line, as I only collect 1/6th and MP Transformers...but I gotta say...
That Wolverine looks like shit. That costume is way off. The shorts look ridiculous as do the shoulder pads. It's like the just borrowed the Yellow Daredevil's suit. Mezco really needs to forget about Artistic interpretation when it comes the Marvel and DC. Classic Iron-man and Netflix Daredevil look great, but I think the best revealed so far is Dr. Strange. He looks great. I also have an idea...instead of working on prototypes and revealing new characters, why don't they get to work on production of what's already been shown for 2 years now. Seems like their big on previews and short on delivery. I'm all for a quality product, and taking time to insure that...but it just seems like they are moving exxxtremely slow. |

Ash looks terrible!
Wonder Woman has a terrible looking thigh cut. The point of this line was to kind of not have that cut there? Rest are somewhat interesting. No real mind blowing ones, but Dr. Strange looks nice. |

Well, looking at that costume, there's no real good way to avoid that cut being visible, is there? Last edited by Jeddostotle7; 02-09-2017 at 04:48 PM.. |

I'll take Wolverine, shorts and all. I do agree on one thing, the shoulder pads can go. |
