Sucks that I only care about 2 main figures in the wave but have to buy the whole thing just for Sauron.

These guys are destroying me... can't keep buying full waves so close from each other.
I do hope that SDCC exclusives really suck. Otherwise I won't have any money for them! |

BTW, could someone enlighten me regarding the extra head and hat that come with the x-force deadpool?

That X-23 looks very nice! I'll have to get the previous version too just to try that extra head on her.

Curious. Does anybody actually want all these Deadpool figures? It's getting a little out of control.

Edit: sorry if this is nitpicking but the X-force Deadpool is his grey costume which we got in the first DP wave, this is the costume he made when he wanted to help the X-men deal with a publicity issue.

Genuinely surprised that Lady Deadpool is a double-pack and Casual Deadpool isn't. Curious to see how that affects the wave on the shelves (if at all).

Those belong to Madcap. I don't know the full details but it was eventually revealed that one of the voices in Deadpool's head was actually Madcap trapped inside of him.
Edit: sorry if this is nitpicking but the X-force Deadpool is his grey costume which we got in the first DP wave, this is the costume he made when he wanted to help the X-men deal with a publicity issue. He comes to in the hospital, finds out his girlfriend (or wife, I forget) died in the accident, tries to kill himself, survives the impact, and completely loses it. He buys a harelquin costume and a bubble gun and goes around using his powers to cause insanity to make people go nuts and tells everyone they should go cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs because life's pointless. He uses the bubble gun so people think that's what's causing people to go insane. Cap stops him, then later he runs into Ghost Rider, who used his Penance Stare on him and he actually liked it because he actually felt pain. EDIT: It's not a harlequin costume, but it was bright purple and yellow. Last edited by cmax75; 06-18-2018 at 01:01 PM.. |

Huh. I've only ever known him from the Dan Ketch era of Ghost Rider. Didn't know he was originally a Cap villain.

Madcap was actually a Captain America villain. Basically, he was just a regular guy who was super religious when the vehicle he was in crashed into an AIM chemical truck, killed everyone onboard except him. Chemicals from the truck give him a crazy healing ability and also to cause insanity to people around him.

You can buy the figures and sell them while keeping the baf pieces you need or you can look for the bafs on the secondary market. There isn't really ever a need to buy figures you don't want if you're patient enough. With the more recent bafs, actually the longer you wait, most of the time, the cheaper it becomes.

Holy crap, Deadpool comes with an alternate Madcap head/hat! That's blowing my mind, and making him a must-buy for me. I wish the base figure looked a bit more like Madcap's outfit, but sine I'm sure there's zero chance we'll ever get a legit Madcap figure, I guess this is the best I can expect.
I also love that Deadpool is punting Madcap's head in the packaging. That's fucking hilarious. Shit, I thought I was getting a break on ML stuff for a while, but out of this wave I want (at least) underwear Deadpool, Lady Deadpool, and now X-Men Deadpool/Madcap. |

As for the rest, I’ll be eagerly awaiting Bishop and Omega Red, and will probably pick up a Lady Deadpool at some point (“Headpool” is going straight into the garbage, though). I’ve always loathed both X-23 and Sauron, though, so I have no cause to feel compelled to complete the wave for the BaF or any other reason. |
