Looks like something that kids should have a blast playing with.

Yep, that line reminds a lot of the 90's action figures when I was a kid. Glad to know it's an actual playline.

The problem is that these just aren't $20 toys. They're dollar store toys with expensive rare earth magnets in them. I'd rather have standard pegs and a less expensive toy. And while most modern electronics are resistant to magnets, a kid shoving these parts into his pockets could still wipe a credit card (some retailers still require the magnetic stripe) or alter the geo-location tech in a smartphone.
The designs are interesting, but even looking past the magnets they're an odd scale coming at the tail end of the mashers popularity. |

Yeah, these are Kickstarter toys and $20 is pretty reasonable for independently produced figures this size.
They look fantastic, guys. Leaning towards Pyronaut at the moment. I like the lady in the teal, I'd pick one of those up too, if she became available. |

Hey guys, thanks for your comments. Morphonauts are getting safety tested right now. Believe me they are not dollar store toys. I'm a huge collector and toy fan and my goal was to make an original toy line that is both innovative and different from the same old stuff you see in stores today.
The manufacturer we are using is amazing and has made toys for top toy companies. When I compare the quality of Morphonauts to other toys I have collected I'm so impressed and excited. They have a very nice weight to them and the tactile feel of the magnets make it feel like something that should be closer to $40, $50 or above. we just want to make them available for everyone. I "toyed" with the idea of pegs but it seems like most mix and match toys that use pegs get the plastic worn out and I want Morphonauts to be top quality and last forever. We will be launching with 3 characters to start. Man, Mutant, and Machine. and hope to follow that pattern for each wave. thanks so much for your support and comments. |

Oh hey, I remember backing the Kickstarter for these guys! I'm really glad to see they're still being made, it's a fun concept and I think they will do well in the market.
Are you still planning to move forward with the Morpho Lab app? |

Hey Giga Leo,
Thanks so much for your support. It has been a long process and even though we loved our product back with the kickstarter, We listened to the fans and we made a lot of improvements such as manufacturing quality and articulation since that first time. I'm a harsh critic on toy quality and trust me, Morphonauts are top notch. We are totally doing the morpho lab and its getting close to being final. it will be free for download. |

I was skeptical at first, but these look pretty cool and I think they'd do well in box stores. Maybe a successful KS could parlay into a larger deal with one of the toy-majors.

Love the concept.
And these are some neat designs. As long as they still have knees and elbows, I might consider picking up a set. Last edited by Snowflakian; 06-21-2017 at 12:11 PM.. |

I would use one or two of the yellow ones for my AIM 3.75"army. Hope they offer international shipping at a reasonable rate. Boss Fight charges between $25-$40per figure!! Depending on where you live.
An AMAZON store with international options would make it $7-$10 for one and then only slight a increased price for increased weight. Charging more for shipping than the figure PLUS charging the same for each additional figure is a deal breaker. It is a big world. Hopefully these Morphs will cater to those outside of North America as well. They look cool.
