I snagged the Cyborg 3pack the other day and was pretty impressed with them. I broke down and ordered the Ninja 6pack from ebay (for lack of another option). I don't mind paint errors so much, as they can be fixed, but I hope the QC is better than their Street Fighter figures.
As far as the original topic goes, I'd like to see all the female Ninjas in a set, as well as the bosses from the various games. |

^Sorry, keeping mine. XD
Just found this link on their FB page. It's hard to tell but it looks like it might be another 4" figure? The Jazwares Report |

No way. That's an insult to Chunk. Now do the Truffle Shuffle.

So how well do you guys think the 7 1/2" Goro would scale with the 4" figures? I think it might be a bit too big, but I'm not quite sure.

Shao Kahn looks decent, I'd buy it if paint apps were semi-acceptable. Could anyone tell me if any MK (or streetfighter for that matter) 3.75 figs are worth picking up if they can be snagged cheap?

I haven't bought any, but from what I have been hearing the ninjas are the best for MK (but that's not saying much). Haven't heard of anything really good in the corresponding Street Fighter lines.
Personally, I think he'd be too tall unless you could get him to crouch a little for the display.

So any news on any more MK figures from Jazwares? I saw that they will be releasing a 6" Shao Kahn figure. Any other updates to the 3.75 " ones?

Got a shipping notice from Entertainment Earth for 4 inch Liu Kang and Johnny Cage... w00t w00t!
Jax is still listed as "Coming Soon! November 2012". But with Nightwolf and these two, that makes 3 out of 4 figures that I didn't think I were going to be released, that ended up showing up at my door. |

Congrats, dude! Hopefully Jazwares is able to pump out Jax for you before they give up the ghost.
This line had so much potential....

After seeing what went down, I hope NECA gets the license. I think they could really pull off a kick ass, highly articulated Mortal Kombat line.

Same here. It can only get better in their hands.

Unlike most, I'm pretty happy with this line for the most part, I got reasonably detailed/articulated 1:18 scaled MK figures to go with my Joes and Marvel figures; I'm kinda big on being able to "cross universes" with my figures and keep them in scale. I did sang the Shao Kahn and Goro sets off TRU.com today, just for the figures...I'm obsessive like that I guess. *shrug* Does anybody know if the Johnny Cage in the play set is the the same as the single carded figure? I preordered the single carded figure and got the shipping notice before I knew about the pay sets. |

It did, and after how badly the first wave did, I didn't think we'd see any more.

I enjoy crossing universes as well, and was totally on-board with this line when it was first announced (same with Street Fighter, especially so I could recreate some MvC action). Unfortunately for me, when I finally saw the figures in person, I lost all interest in owning any of them.

Anyone collect the older 6" figures? I recently picked up Shao Kahn.

Why does Liu Kang look so sad? Lol
Agreed on the loose joints. Some of the figures I have loose leg joints. |

haha... Liu does look a little bummed out. Even though I don't think it's a great look, the figure itself doesn't look half bad.
Overall I've been pretty let down by this line too. I think there are a few really nice figs (modern Ninjas, Cage in Goro pack, Kahn), but as a whole it's pretty bland. And Baraka might actually be the worst action figure made in this millenium. I was psyched when I heard they were doing a Goro, but man is he dull. Of course I still bought the set because I wanted a Goro... and Cage's foot snapped right off. I still need to exchange that set.

Got these in the mail today Liui Kangs face is... well not as good as it looked in the Ent Earth pic. :/ He's got this weird molding(?) defect where his bangs are that cause his right eye to "bug out" Toxic Avenger style lol. I couldn't get a good pic of it through the packaging, but I'll see what I can do to get one later. |

He does look rather cartoonish in that pic.
Both, really. But I saw the SF figures first and that's what turned me off. Maybe I'll get the Ken/Blanka set on clearance, just to be able to say I own one and yes, it's as bad as everyone says (or get proven wrong). I did that with the GL movie 3.75" figures and am the proud owner of one of the worst Hal Jordan figures ever made. Thankfully, Bruce is keeping him company until Clark shows up next year. My plan is to eventually have the entire team of Justice Lame movie figures.
