He looks really good. We have already kinda seen what these guys look like with the WWE stuff. I have mixed feelings about this line now. I used to be all on board, but sometimes it is a step back

That’s where I am. I’m trying to like these....but after classics going back 40 years kid of sucks. I had hoped classics would get more articulation and move forward. Now this. I have to see them in person before a final judgment.

Yeah, I can understand that. It's definitely not the evolution of classics a lot were hoping for.

I actually like these figures a lot. Where they will shine is affordability and hopefully availability. I say availability because I have yet to see any single carded Masters of the WWE Universe in a store.
I know they're Walmart exclusives but neither of my 2 local Walmarts have these in stock. The nearest one got the rings with the 2 figures right before Christmas but those sold quick and I was luckily enough to nab 1 but they have not restocked since. Which is BS because it exclusive to Walmart you'd figure they're want to stock up on the stuff you can't buy anywhere else. So, if these new MOTU Origins are going to be widespread, then we have a good chance of getting them easier at reasonable prices. Aside from that, Classics we're where it's at, but these new figures have a certain charm to them that makes me smile, and after handling the few of the WWE versions (that I managed to get online) they're much better in hand. Also, scaling isn't a oo far off from Classics so if you have the MOTUC Castle Grayskull or are getting the Super 7 Snake Mountain, these figure will work with those sets. I only have 3 classics figures (also BattleCat and Orko) but I do have Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain is paid for... So if I am not able to easily get more classics, I am cool with getting these new MOTU Origins figures to fill the voids and those playsets. Last edited by GerardVonHooten; 02-14-2020 at 11:43 AM.. |

So far, I think I'm only in for Skeletor and Trap Jaw. I don't think anything else ive seen so far looks very good.

Man, I'm all in on these. The thought of Ultimate Warrior coming off the top rope to elbow drop Beast Man in the Grayskull Mania Ring gets me pumped.

They need to pose these better in the promo shots. They’re not really selling the upgraded articulation and the poses they show are kind of awkward. I say this because I just picked up the MOTU/WWE Ultimate Warrior figure and the poses you can get him into are stuff I wish I could have done with my MOTU figures as a kid.

They were clearanced down to $7 in a lot of Wal-Marts early last month. They finally started selling at that price.

I bought mine when it hit $7.00. The clearance aisles had a full endcap of them, which ended up being cleaned out by the end of the following day. If it's at $10...grab it. That's five bucks a figure plus a neat MOTU themed ring that can be used with your Classics or this new line when it finally drops. Plus the wrestler figures can be easily customized to fit in with this new MOTU line. It's a win all around. |

The proportion issues people were complaining about with Scareglow are even more egregious here with Man e faces,he's all upper body with tiny legs.

I would hardly call it an issue when it’s a deliberate design choice. |

The vintage figures have their arms bent, they also have much smaller arms compared to the bodies. I think the bent arms on the vintage figures prevented gorilla arms, but we are seeing it with these. If the arms are not down and are being posed its not noticeable on the origins stuff |
