Creepy, and not remotely worth the $30.

He's kind of cool looking, but I don't need a figure that a fan made for a contest.

They should change it a bit first. Lose the hair since it doesn't make any sense or fit in at all. Replace it with the top of the side pillars on the castle, like the rook on a chess board. Also the name doesn't do it for me. Spirit of Grayskull, Defender Grayskull, Warrior Grayskull, etc. Anything but Castle Grayskullman.

Better name maybe. At first was not feeling this figure. It has started to grow on me and after reading the bio posted over at He-Man.org, I believe I will be picking this figure up now.
Here is a link to the bio for this figure as well as several others that will be out later this year. He-Man.org > News > Mosquitor, Frosta, Rattlor, Snake Men, Dekker, Eternos Randor, Procrustus, Castle Grayskullman and Cy-Chop's Bios Revealed! |

I like it and I want it. He looks really cool. They should drop the "Castle" part of his name though.

I wish his mouth was closed, and styled closer to the front gate of the castle. Blame it on years of collecting Transformers, but I keep expecting a missile to shoot out of his head.
Otherwise, congrats to the winner. It's not every day you get to see something you created in your head become reality.

Absolutely perfect. The first and only figure in the 30th line that deserves to be there. Well done Daniel!

The premise behind this is great. If hasbro would do that for marvel universe, somebody from toy ark would win. I would buy that figure regardless

He's really grown on me. One of the reasons I loved the original Castle Grayskull is because of the cool skull face. I'm definitely getting this guy. I even like that silly Hulk Hogan hair.

Not a Bad Looking Figure but they could have made it more stone/statue like.

And now just typing that made me remember out of no where Warrior's pre-Wrestlemania interview saying he would put Hogan's plane into a nose dive. |

The swords and shield look good, but the rest of it looks like junk. Sorry, Mattel, but this is almost worse than the Photog abomination. Things like this, and most of the other figures, are the reason I won't spring for the subscription. It's more cost effective for me to pay scalper ebay prices for the figures I honestly want, than to buy stuff I honestly don't think will be worth the plastic it's molded from.

What was Mattel thinking with this? Out of all the thousands of entries this guy was picked? Clearly this was another case of somebody in marketing picking something lame and corny over some other entries that probably make this guy not even worth the plastic he's molded with. Castle Grayskull Man? The name sounds so generic. Whoever came up with that name or chose to market it instead of changing it needs to be fired. I like the idea of the Sorceress conjuring up a warrior from deep within the bowels of Castle Grayskull. That part is nice. He actually wouldn't be a bad looking figure if it wasn't for that stupid blond hair. This guy is supposed to be made of stone or whatever passes for stone in Eternia. WTF does he need blond hair for? He's not a human warrior. He's a product of magic which used whatever materials Castle Grayskull is made of. The shield, swords and crest on his chest are very nice and detailed. So is his body. But the hair just makes him look lame and silly. If Mattel was going for an attempt to make him look more human, that was a mistake. There was a whole lot of things that could have been done intsead of the hair like a specially designed helmet just for him. Everything else was excellent but the hair just ruins it. Or they could have given an alternate version of the head without the hair and with a helmet or something. At least that would have given everyone the option of choosing which look they wanted. Knowing Mattel they probably didn't want to spend the extra money to produce another head since he already comes with a shield and two swords. But on the other hand they could have left out the shield and saved it for the next weapons pack. I think they went completely by the winner's design and didn't think it all the way through. It must have been well received because it's sold out. I might get him if he's reissued at a cheaper price. Then I'll have to make my own modifications to it. I could start by painting the hair black. Lol..
