Going back to my childhood in the 70's early 80's days. I always loved a full army of vehicles and stuff for my figures the way Star Wars and GI Joe did it.
Jaws - 4" figures, 16" Great White and an Orca/Bronco/sailboat. Mad Max/Road Warrior -N2Toys were OK in 2000. Could you imagine an V8-Interceptor with motorcycles and a Tanker as well as other cool vehicles back in the early 80's with your O-ring figures of Max, Wez, Toecutter and Lord Hummungus and even Master Blaster Grease - Sorry I loved it/still do. T-Birds/Scorpions gang fight and again some grease lightning cars to race AND last but not least as other have said JAMES BOND! How the hell does a successful franchise like this not get into the action figure business in the late 70's early 80's when Moonraker For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy are huge at the box office. I'd hardly call 12" Mego "action figures" Last edited by Byrnes; 06-04-2014 at 01:55 PM.. |

Expendables did Stallone times 2, Lundgren, Crews and one other I just forget who it was. So yeah Statham and Li would be good...hopefully wave three would include them..we will see
Scarjo Lucy would be killer plus she can cross over as a BW in another set of clothes. Quote:
Remo Williams would be hilarious to have on a shelf. And of course since you reminded me, let's get Leonard Part 6 in there too! And Black Dynamite! |

Say what? If it's not Travolta/Newton John it's not Grease. Saw it at the drive-in 79 when I was 6-7. I was mesmerized by the music and also asked my mom why Rizzo had a bun in the oven, Mom said she was "cooking" lol.

I would love to see some Wes Anderson movie figures!
Especially from the Life Aquatic. It Would be awesome if they release the whole team and possibly a "limited edition" jaguar shark with the submarine. Kind of the like the Jaws set from movie maniacs. |

Tremors needs a grabboid line unto itself outright. Oh the the dios that could be made with AIM or the Hulk using those. And you can never go wrong with a Kevin Bacon action figure. Also while at it, throw in some Quantum Leap with Sam and Al. |

I wish someone could make Mad Max Fury Road figures but I already know the answer to that.

Some folks have already suggested the ones at the top of my list, like Back to the Future, The Last Starfighter, Serenity, X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past and the 007 Series.
Another one I always wanted as a kid was Johnny 5 from Short Circuit. I don't care about the human characters, but we should have gotten an 8-12 inch Electronic Talking Johnny 5. While I'm thinking about it, I want an Electronic Bubo from the original Clash of the Titans movie too. I know there was a 3.75 inch figure line back in the day, but this would be a one-off collectible piece. He'd have flapping wings, a spinning head and Movie Sounds. I would have loved some GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 1/18figures. We got 1/6, 1/12, even a new 1/24 line. As a 3.75" Marvel collector I would have enjoyed that.
I like ReAction Funko figures. I love how they make figures from the eighties and love that they crappy quality. My 9 year old son loves his horror series! Tonka back in the day had a Mad Max 3.75" line with converted Tonka vehicles. I had some and they were some of my favourite figures and vehicles. I don't think a 6" Joe would do well. Mums and Dads wouldn't buy £20 war toys. I couldn't see it lasting. I get the appeal for them sure, just don't see Hasbro pulling the trigger. Maybe if it were more cartoony or Mashers perhaps. War and military stuff is a hard sale these days, especially realistic ones. Just my opinion.
