What was the one movie that you thought should have toys and never really did. Or got the short end of stick upon delivery?

Back to the Future: Biggest hit of '85, one of the 10 biggest movies of the 80's, huge 'young' audience, never had a toyline.
Goonies: Not quite as successful as above, but a hit, and no toys at all. |

X-men first class that would of been interesting
Ghost rider 2 X-men origins wolverine 6" series FF4 Rotss 6inch line ? DD would of loved a movie bullseye and Elektra IM2 whiplash Although saying some of these movies if they dont seem like for childern (hard to believe) or dont sell out well then we can appreciate no toys as well also due to copyright etc |

Serenity.
OK, so they got three figures, but that's not even half.

And SPACEBALLS CAN NEVER have official merchandise, ever. Mel Brooks made a legal binding agreement with LUCAS to never have merchandise made from Spaceballs due to the similarities to Star Wars and the parody nature of Spaceballs. That is why there is the whole over merchandising gag in Spaceballs. |

But back to the topic at hand-
Serenity/Firefly needs to have a proper figure line. Tropic Thunder would be fun. I am Legend or I, Robot Will smith figure Sparticus characters -from the Starz series Gabriel (Walken) and Lucifer (Mortenssen) from The Prophecy Pulp Fiction figures Paul- Clive and Graeme and Paul (you could even do a clear Paul) The Phantom- Billy Zane The Shadow- Alec Baldwin Pitch Black or Riddick 3 figures The Crow, CoA, and Salvation (Eric, Ashe, Alex) And all of these should be done by NECA :-) |

In the late 80's and early 90's so many movies got toys. I remember the Costner Robin Hood having a ton of toys. The problem with Back to the Future is that you would have two figures and the car. I don't think kids would have been into much else. Still, Knight Rider got a figure.

Something I keep waiting for and feel is never going to happen: the Special Force Ops from Predator need figures! It's such a natural toy line too. Sure we have gotten a billion Predators and finally a Dutch. But what about Dillon, Mac, Blain, Billy (especially a Billy HAHAHA), Hawkins and Poncho? Even add Anna in there.
The Book of Eli is another movie I'm sure we'll never see one figure from (I can't recall a Denzel Washington figure in any form, so that may be something he does not allow). But between him, Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis there are enough decent figures there. |

Ok I'll throw out some weird choices here, but. . .
First Knight; or the Russell Crowe Robin Hood -- something with a good English medieval army The Patriot -- something with a good British redcoat army and some minutemen with muskets; colonial Americana These must be in 6" scale of course. Or how 'bout (since I'm on the subject of Mel Gibson) Braveheart with a William Wallace lightning bolt shooting action?

Goonies DID have figures a few year ago from MEZCO, but they were terrible because they put that crappy cartoony spin on them like the Scarface figures.

Big Trouble Little China:
Jack Burton Wang Chi Lo Pan Thunder Rain Lighting Egg Shen Gracie Law These would be sweet as hell to have in figure form. Also, the Monster Squad. All of the classic monsters and you could have Drac's pimp hearse. |

Some proper Pulp Fiction action figures would have been nice, not the shoddy geoms from NECA. |

Bond and Big Trouble are good calls. I'm gonna throw out 'Explorers' just because I loved the film as a kid and want toys from it!

The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
I would love a 1/18th Blondie. The rest would just be icing. Serenity 1/18th with a Serrnity bridge or mess playset. The crew, some reavers, and the Operative and you've got yourself a line. The Last Samurai That upcoming Budo from G.I. Joe makes me really wish I had a line of 1/18 samurai figures. Stardust I'd love a line of fantasy figures from this movie, especially of Robert DeNiro's Captain Shakespeare and his steampunk pirates and ship.

I'd enjoy having some Seven Psychopaths figures.
I really just want a Sam Rockwell action figure, and SEMI-SPOILERS A Jack of Diamonds Killer would just be the shit. |
