I don't like Jeremy Renner based solely on his face. It has that look like he needs to be pistol-whipped.

Not too bad, but if I were to get a figure at this scale, I would get the Marvel Legends figure coming out. The sunglasses and the bow having a string are two pluses, and it doesn't hurt that it'll be available at mass retail...I think.
This one does have a few pluses to it. It does look like it's got certain details down better, and the overall color-scheme seems to match his on-screen outfit better, except for the maroon-like color (looks too brown on this one).

"super Unimpressive regular guy with a bow" is not getting my toy money.
No damn way. Hawkeye will either be the rare figure in the 3.75 line or the ultimate pegwarmer, |

For some reason MS made me think Young Avengers Hawkeye, as Ms Hawkeye. xD
Marvel really needs to do something about those two and their names. Now it's even more confusing with them having the same costume, just that costume looks tons better on a girl than it does on Renner or Clint. Maybe they should have changed it a bit more from hers than they did. Though to be fair, I didn't notice the Smallville green arrow similiarities until the suit was on a male. (Only it's black and purple for comic or just shades of black for movie Hawkeye instead of Ollie'sgreen, and no hood. It doesn't help Clint and Ollie are both rocking the blond buzzcut too. Perfect figuremod waiting to happen from the avengers 3.75'' line?) Last edited by Snowflakian; 01-26-2012 at 10:25 AM.. |

But think of the customizing potential!
You could make...that guy from the gym...or someone from accounting on the weekend...maybe someone from the SCA that forgot his elf ears at Ren Fair. |

ahahahahahaha I agree wholeheartedly. Pistol whipped the hell out of, with a D Eagle or something else with some weight ahah. I also haven't liked him since his stance toward the character and original look came out during the first rumors that he was in Avengers. Funny enough I'm orignally from Ga too...and moved away for the first time about 7 months ago lol. Renner looks horrible...everyone else looks somewhat like their comic counter-part, and he looks like the lame Ultimates version. Although even Evans and Hemsworth take their helmets off a bit too much for me too. Those sunglasses better be Ballistics grade. When he flips out his bow in the trailer it looks so rubbery and fake. |
