I love Marvel Selects Thing, but I prefer to not hide my Thing under pants. So the original plan was just to carve the pants and boots into rock, but as I went on I decided to make a few other changes. Articulation was lacking so the first thing I did was cut the thighs in half and put a swivel where the shorts meet the rock. When carving the rock into the feet I decided to cut off the tip of the feet and sculpt toes as separate articulated pieces. Originally the kneecaps were split so the top of the knee moved with the thigh when the legs were bent, so I removed the knee from the thigh and made a single kneecap attached to the shin.
