Hi there one and all. Thanks as always for the support around here!
So, I had some time to complete two of my latest commission requests: Marvel Universe 3.75" X-Force Domino and X-23! Let's see....so....X-23 was originally the ALWAYS useful and versatile Ms. Marvel. The belt was Microman Batman's. She has real metal claws, made from cut pins. It seemed like a good idea, but I stabbed myself in the thumbs about 20 times. I gave her some trimmed WWE knee pads to make a boot separation line. The gray was slightly drybrushed with silver. Domino is pretty much a repaint of ROC Agent Helix, with a new X-belt buckle and silver pistols. Thanks for any comments, criticism, love or hate! SP

Wow. Great job on both. I thought about doing the same exact thing with Helix. I mean, c'mon. She's perfect for it. But that X-23 came out BEAUTIFUL. Much props. Better hide that one from Snowflakian. He's been foaming at the mouth for X-23.

Nice X-23. And that dominoes not bad to boot.
The only thing I'd suggest on X, is to paint the top part of her lower torso with a black border, so her uniform comes down just a shade lower instead of just going under her breasts and she's missing her little silver dips into black on her legs and shoulders. But otherwise awesome figures. Last edited by Snowflakian; 08-27-2009 at 02:53 PM.. |

I agree with Snowflakian about the costume for X-23. Just a little bit lower on the top will do, but that is absolute nit-picking. You did a wonderful job.

That domino is just damn sweet. I hope hasbro comes out with one close to this rendition. =D It's like the more I look at it, the more badass it gets.
I'm really digging how you solved the X-23 glove and boots too. Sweet idea. Last edited by Snowflakian; 08-27-2009 at 09:11 PM.. |
