You know, with all the vampire stuff, both within the comics and other non-Marvel media, you would think that Hasbro would re-release Blade. Especially with all the revision packs that have come out lately. Blade is going for mad money, just check e-bay, and was a bit rare upon initial release.
Plus, I heard a rumor that the new Jubilee is supposed to be vampire-Jubilee. I wonder if Blade will be re-released soon, possibly in a 2-pack?? How about a new mold or re-deco. |

That 2 pack would be cool, can you source where the Jubilee info is from? I never heard of it, and frankly if I got a vampire version over the Jim Lee version I'd be PISSED! I would love a rerelease of blade as I refuse to pay $50-80 for him, but it then takes down the value of a rare figure which sucks for the MOC collectors. I would personally rather a movie version with a Wesley Snipes headsculpt, removeable shades and steel spikes and comes with his bike. and a removeable cape would be sweet.

I'm pretty sure the Jubilee figure they're planning to release is the Jim Lee one, I've seen prototype shots of it before.

I'm just going to say that I got my Blade at retail about 2 or 3 waves after it came out. Arkers be jealous.

Ok, I only read that Jubilee was going to be vamp. on the boards, no confirmed source. And personally, I'd rather Jim Lee's version...or was it Marc Silvestri's version?
Anyways, I want Blade, and a movie version would rock!! Though what Behindthemask is wanting would fit in a deluxe pack or Marvel Select. |

Sorry for the double post, but how about the re-issue, classic 1st appearance or 80's variant, and movie version Blade.

The prototype shown at SDCC has the jacket (which she's always been wearing) but does not have shorts on. So she's either Gen X Jubilee or the current Vampire Jubilee in the black spandex. Or, third option, it is the original Jubilee, and those are just placeholder legs on an unfinished prototype.

I think if Hasbro keyed in on likeness and articulation and pared it with some badass accessories we'd all pay the premium more. I'm tired of paying $20 for 1 figure I want and a repaint of another I don't along with a comic I probably won't get around to reading. Give me a nicely package blade that comes with removeable coate, 2 headsculpts, glasses, 3 chrome spikes, sword, s shaped throwing blade, and his bike, would be epic, I'd shell out $20-30. and add some led headlight and tailights and you have a deal,... hell make it remote controlled would be epic. lol.

I saw him once at retail, and that's the one I have.. Right after that wave I was having money problems, and I sold off what I thought was all my MU fig..... Then when things were good again,i'd say back in the begining of 2010...I started collecting MU again.....So after being all caught up,- a blade which I thought I sold...I was going through all my G.I.joe extras...and low and behold I found him in the bottom of my box..File card and all...:-) |

I found my Blade back upon release as well. I was never that excited for him then, but for this kind of cash he's pulling in and a baby on the way.. I'm tempted to break my complete waves collection for some of these lesser quality figures people are willing to pay online.

I have a good amount of these figures that match that description perfectly.. I've just always been such a completionist that it didn't matter. This may be a sad sad weekend of ebay listing! Though I guess I could post them on here first and give back to the community, but I will only slightly undercut what I know they go for on ebay because baby $ > my greed $.. so if I do, I just hope people understand in this case! :x
