So I saw somewhere that someone used Cobra Commander as a base for a Doc Ock, but they used the body as is, and just painted his metal chest flesh color. I wanted to take that a little further, so here's what I came up with. The basis of most of it was Cobra Commander, but I replaced the body with Zartan. To get the metal belt thing going, I trimmed the bottom off a Desert Viper snap-on armor off, turned it backwards and gave it a few metal color washes. The tentacles are Whiplash whips from the normal carded movie Whiplash. I'm going to need two more of those, but if I keep looking I should be able to grab another Whiplash somewhere... and I still need a good head and claws. I think I'll just get the Spider-man line Doc and take his head, and trim the claws off of his tentacles.
I dunno. What do you guys think? |

Looks good so far, man. Yeah, the Doc Ock head from the Spider-man toyline is obviously Alfred Molina inspired.

Too bad the Indiana Jones Sapito head looks nothing like him. lol That's looking real good the CC body works well for the movie version as do thr whiplash parts. You need that SDCC movie spiderman to go with it.

The movie Cobra Commander is going for like 2 to 3 bucks MOC nowadays so it's an easy buy for this sort of thing. Great job, btw.

Just needs some paint fixes on the chest to match the head, and the neck ball enlarged so the head stays on better. |

The finished product looks great, man. Only thing I'd suggest is doing some work on the hair to make it completely movie accurate.

I wanted it movie style, but not exactly FROM the movie. I might fix the hair a bit but i'm not sure I want it to be an exact thing.

Your custom looks awesome. Disregard my offer to send over some Whiplash whips, I didn't realize you already found more. If you still need them though, they're yours for free.
