This was so much fun I have clicked on this thread probably 50 times in the past two days. I am thrilled to win and appreciate the votes from everyone, not just the people that voted for me, I'm glad some of the community got involved too. This was a great idea Kylactus and I commend you for doing it.
I entered because I thought I had a cool idea, but thanks to this contest I have taken more toy photos this month than I have in the past 6 months, plus I will to continue the Where's the Shadow thread and in all truthfulness it reinvigorated me back into the line! I have second place prizes for all that entered, Pilk your's is coming with your order, but I will need other's adresses. It isn't much, but I feel like everyone deserves something. Shoot me some PMs and lets roll out another contest!!! Sorry for the long post, I just want to thank Kylactus again, a few years ago he hooked me up with a few figures for free and now he is hosting fun contests with awesome prizes. You rock man and I want to extend the "Second place" prize to you as well so let me know your address too. |

Congrats man! you need to keep the Macy thread going! I thought this was a lot of fun, great ideas all around! the booty will be in the mail tomorrow.
Now I have another contest Idea, let me know what ya'll think, Marvel Horror! I'm thinking we launch soon, open it up to all scales/ brands (MU, ML, MI, MS, ect) and have it open to customs, Dios, and set up photos with a horror theme. examples would be Wolverine VS Jason, or the Predator attacking the GOTG, or a set of custom of FF spawned Xenomorphs. or if dios are your thing, a haunted X-mansion, or a classic Tomb of Dracula cover, recreated with Legends figures. no story needed (unless you want to) if you just want to take pics that's cool, and we'll end it on Halloween! my only questions would be, should we open it to DC as well? I don't collect much DC stuff personally, but I am a DC fan and including them might get more folks on board, I'm thinking we structure the contest basically the same as we did here. any input is always good, or if anyone has a different contest idea. |

Great idea!!! I think we keep it Marvel and we keep it 3.75" to keep it in the family. Just would hate seeing a load of arkers I have never heard from deciding who wins. Just my shared thought. I am 100% on board for this one.

Exactly!! since they are all zombies they can go anywhere in the house, not just the collection- box, corner, shelf, wall, room (whatever it is that you have for your stuff) I was just saying that 3.75" and Marvel because we all talk often. When we drag others in it could change the dynamics. Either way it is all in fun and will good to look at all the scary stuff that happens.

Now I know what you're thinking....What use do you have for some costumes and gear, McDuck's Riches, and poisoning that poor young boy? Well to be honest nothing....YET! The thing is Marv don't work for free, so until I see payment I keep things in my personal stash....and as far as the boy goes, he had it coming. Always snooping in my affairs... No wonder it was still in the alley. Macy was going to come back with a furniture dolley to move it cause it was too heavy to lift by himself. |

Huge thanks again to Kylactus for throwing the contest. The spoils of victory showed up yesterday. Also I am an idiot and tried to clean up my PM box and deleted peoples addresses....
Snow and Kernel if you could send me yours again so I can send out a small gift that would be awesome. Kylactus I have yours from the package. Looking forward to the next contest too. |
