In the future please include a link and please do not post duplicate threads. Also, thanks for the heads up, frontpaged and credited.

I appreciate the help. Just saying that it's more appropriate to provide a link to the news item you are reporting.

I love how single carded figures are as much as a 2-pack from a year ago....

Yup! Yikes on those prices. The trade-off is how crappy it's been hunting the last few waves down. The extra $6 may make sense when you factor in gas. As ever, patience will eventually save you money...too bad I don't have much patience

The trade off is just the same as retail if you purchase a case of twelve. The price is 114.99 after 10 bucks shipping the price comes to be 9.99 a figure plus you would be saving a little bit because tax on twelve figures would be around 9 bucks. So if you buy the whole case you would be saving a couple of bucks, then you could just use receipts from old MU purchases and return the figures you do not want or need. I think by just focusing on the 5 pack of the new figures you do lose money but its smarter to buy in bulk, always is, just return the figs you do not need and bam, you paid 9.99 per figure.

Well said dd, I went ahead and pre-ordered the 5 pack (hence the extra $6 comment). I would get a case but I just don't need any extra figures, LOL. Already short on room as it is. For new collectors bulk is a great way to go for sure.

And if there's enough doubles you can split the case up between fellow arker's as well.

Well unfortunately, I'm usually guaranteed new figures if I'm on top of getting to my comic store on time, but their prices are the same as BBTS...sooooo....eh

WHAT THE #^<%! TWO NIGHTHAWK to every 1 Nova and 1 Angel!?!?!?! I've seen Nighthawk in ONE comic ONCE. It was a fear itself throw away book and he was a MINOR character even next to Howard the F^<%ing DUCK! Angel is a Founding member of the X-Men, which makes up about a third of the books marvel puts out! And you thought Gladiator warmed pegs...

It really is pretty baffling.

If the paint-apps are done well, the Spider-Man Unlimited figure might be worth looking into. The "Original Captain America" figure might also be worth getting. Excuse my ignorance, I don't follow this line...at all, but are there any pictures of either one?

"Spider-Man Unlimited" I believe refers to the Ultimate Spider-Man. For some reason when the latest Ultimate Spider-Man and Future Foundation Spider-Man were solicited for order they were called "Spider-Man Unlimited" and "Shattered Dimension Spider-Man" even though they have nothing to do with either one. Is he? Red and Blue? If they stay one per case and no revision I seem them being highly scalped. See, all those people charging tons for Prof X just didn't make sense because we knew we'd get at least two of him per case, unlike a Scarlett Witch or this Nova.

Edit: Searching "Marvel Universe Captain America" on BBTS, I'm going to assume that the one listed here is a re-release of this one from wave seven. Nice design, but most likely a pass for me.
