Yes there is a Blastaar variant. This has been known since Comic Con.

That's the variant with Blastaar, the one with the clear plastic arms that is.

Rob, isn't Rhino supposed to be in that wave?

I never noticed it but variant blastaar also has orange eyes too. I'll try to take a pic of the two later.

@trainwreck: nope. This mu wave is only professor x, jubilee, and blastaar. 3 figure wave with only blastaar as the variant. The next wave should be nova, puck, Angel, nighthawk, and Hercules. This was supposed to be the next wave out but Hasbro's release dates and distribution are horrendous. The wave after that should be rhino, elecktra, and your fav mysterio.

Lol. The variant should be a different colored suit and a regular wheelchair.

It looks like the wave we saw came out of this revision case because we also saw psylocke and silver surfer. Here is another opportunity to get Paperbag head spidey too.

Definitely brightened up our Monday.

I almost missed it entirely because they weren't in the pegs labeled Marvel Universe so we thought it was the same peg warmers. Then some old lady was blocking the area between Spiderman movie and Avengers movie figures. As soon as she moved I saw Blastar with the variant hands and lunged over her cart to make the grab, lol.

San Diego rarely did when I lived there. Would hear about stuff up in L.A. or farther north and then we'd get it later.

@ Iceman- it's far more likely that we were just the first Arkers to post about it then actually being the first U.S city to see these at general retail. You're right, though, we typically don't see new stuff first out here. LA usually will way before we do.

Thats what happened here in Texas, all the walmarts here were completely out, the last stop I made today during my hunt was a walmart and I hit the jackpot!

I got baghead and all, I am going to start hitting this walmart a few times a week and try to snatch up all of the bag heads.

I can see the baghead spidey being the next vision, people are paying upwards of 250.00 for vision now.
