Hasbro has some guts to pass that off as the Red skull, he's like a 1/4 inch too short to even be in the line. I will bet you a weeks pay that they did not retool the articulation either!

Could someone link to a picture of Vogel? I'm not seeing the big deal. That looks like Red Skull.
But on that note, Human Torch, Namor, and B&W Cap look absolutely fantastic. |

I think the big deal is that he is shorter than the MU figs.

AND has inferior articulation in comparison to all the MU figures.
Feels reminiscent of what TOYBIZ did to us with the red skull figure all those years ago. Then like three years from now they will release a good one after everyone pays too much for the bad one. BTW cut the head off of Montazuma's skeleton, drill a bigger hole in it, pop on to col. vogel's body(available at marshalls for three dollars), paint skull red with testors paint pens, TA-DA! Paint uniform as desired, I'm dremeling out the hat to fit on the skull. Then I will add some black to the uniform and save my self a butt load of money! It will hold me over until they release the good one. If someone gets this pack, will you post comparison pictures? I'd love to be wrong, but want to make sure before I order them. Just pop out your skull figure and stand him next to any Capt. A figure. It will tell me all I need to know. Thanks, ~D.S.

According to the Marvel Wiki, Johann was originally 6'1" and in the robot body is now 6'2". Steve Rogers is 6'2". Bucky Barnes is 5'10".
Basically, the Red Skull should be as tall or taller than Captain America, if we stick to Earth 616 scale. http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Johann_Schmidt_(Earth-616) http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Steven_Rogers_(Earth-616) http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/James_B...nes_(Earth-616)

You know, I'm really not that bothered by it at all. I have all my Joes, Indy toys and MU figures all together as it is and they are similar enough. I'm definitely looking forward to getting this set.

My thing, as others have said, is that Red Skull shouldn't be that short. But we'll see. I probably won't be able to get this figure anyway, so no reason for me to complain.

I heard that it will be available on HTS after SDCC but I can't find my source. Considering all of Marvel/Hasbro's SDCC exclusives were available on HTS last year, I would hope they continue the practice.
