I really dig the classic look. Also, since Captain America has all new gloves, the shield fits MUCH better on here than on the Ultimate version. Too bad this shield lacks the straps though. |

Picked up mine today! All 3 packs rock and to me this is a line that improves as it progresses! Really looking forward to the rest of the Secret Wars run and the Gigantic Battles series.

I thought I was done with stuck joints, I'd been fortunate so far, I have a good number of MU/XMO Wolverine figures, and until never had a stuck joint(on these 3-3/4" Marvel figures) until now. I hope this is a one-off situation, I'd just advise you guys to be careful when opening the figures. Other than that, the packs are worth getting, I really wanted that Wolverine so I'll be getting another pack in the future and crossing my fingers that I don't find any stuck joints. Some of the packs at the Target I went to also had figures with duplicate limbs...like 2 left legs/arms. |

That's great! I cannot wait.
But I have already expressed my dissapointment of the factory screwups such as the 2 limbs of the same nature. NICE GRABBIN'!

I got these last week (which living in Ireland is something).
These are great. I love that we get some classics looks and finally getting Thunderball and Klaw in any form is great. |

What's the price of these @ Target? The stores in my area seem to be dragging their feet w/ the reset.
Do they come w/ codes and "bio" cards like the single packs? I hope they make the rest of the Wrecking Crew. My MU Avengers need some worthy adversaries! Last edited by flywheels; 08-04-2009 at 12:04 PM.. |

Target is charging $12.99 for the MU Secret Wars comic packs.
I don't know about the codes or "bio" cards as I am keeping my set sealed. |

no cards or bios, but they are nifty. I love the Klaw and Thunderball figures. Seriously, we need more villains.

FOUND EM!
Got #1 and #3 - Cap & Klaw, Spidey & Thunderball. Target had #2 but the Wolvie had bad paint apps and 2 left feet!! Thanks for bringing that up! I would have been dissapointed.

We need to ask Hasbro about this in the next Q&A.

Just dawned on me that my Wolvie has two LT biceps. And I picked him because he had the best paint and claws. Looks like I'll have to hunt for a replacement.
Hasbro really does need to answer how they plan to address quality control since SW seems to have downgraded their overall standards from the single packs. I mentioned before that I saw two Caps with twisted ankles and most of the paint apps I saw were sub-par. It seems like a tactical error to me since SW packs were introducing fence sitting collectors (more than kids who never heard of SW) and are getting soured on MU because of it. I get that they might cut some corners on comic packs to protect the margins (Cap's straps?) but they shouldn't want to hurt the line's image. |

My wolverine's wrist snapped off too, Shin.
At least the legs are right. Let's hope this isn't a trend. I dig this series too much to let quality control ruin it all. |

My Wolverine's right hand lasted a couple of days before finally snappin off. I prefer my XMO brown suit Wolvy better. Guess he'll be fodder for a Daken now.

Just got mine in a Nor Cal Target!!! I skipped on the Cap/Claw and Spidey/Cannonball since I own individual Caps and Spideys. I love the packaging so much that I am not opening any of these (20+ years of collecting has taught me better). This is the Wolvie I grew up with and I think the paint is solid. The claws go cock-eyed but its all good to me. Happy hunting everyone!

On the bright side, you can all get started on some AoA Wolverine customs now.

After opening the Cap/Klaw pack last night I felt kinda ripped off. I know as far as one figure costing almost $8.50 and you're getting 2 figures for $13 isn't a bad deal...but the plastic seemed cheap (esp. on Cap) and I'll have to double check Cap b/c one of his knees may be a duplicate. I can't get him to pose and stand on his own at all. His shield doesn't want to stay on his forearm either. Klaw seems fine...if kinda bland. Another thing that peeved me was the comic was all bent up. The bottom lower left corner was actually folded underneath itself! I know it just a reprint, but as a big Marvel comics reader/collector I want all of my comics in better shape than this! Never had that problem buying the Joe comic packs! The exclusion of the bio cards are suck.
If I buy anymore I too may leave them sealed. For loose figures I may just wait until I can find the ones I want loose. |

What I usually do with stuck wrists is run them under scalding hot water and then slowly manuvere them. It usually works, I had to do that with my 1st MU Spidey.
