While we have had these wonderful days of rain here in TN the last couple of days, I decided to work on a couple of customs.
I have up for today some WIPs.... Steve Rogers(s) First up is my Grand Director custom... First Appearance Cap America with Hawkeye head And then Super Soldier Steve Rogers Hawkeye body, Agent Trakker head, Storm Shadow hands, lower legs from Viper. These have been simple customs while i am at work. I plan to touch up Grand Director more at a later time. |

Sweet! I didn't even THINK of using Hawkeye's head.

Thanks. I was going to use a TriGate head, but used that on a D-Man custom i did awhile back. I liked the smirk he had, and felt that he might have that when thinking about making things 'right'.
Its my simple attempt at one. I was originally going to try and find a Bucky Cap figure and use that to make this figure, but after thinking about the changes i would have to make (lengthening torso, longer legs, changed arms) as well as those i made to this figure, this was a quicker choice. Now I need to go back and paint up his stars & stripes. I liked the boots as they were the closest that i have to 'jackboots' and felt that a WW2 warrior might wear something like that. |

Yea, that Steve Rogers from the upcoming Secret Avengers has me wanting to do the rest of the team at this scale, especially Valkyrie and Nova. I'm personally excited about that title.

I agree about wanting to make most of this team. I am hoping to get some good images of all of the upcoming Avenger Teams and see about making a few of them (those not made for us).

I'm hoping they have plans for a decent Beast figure soon. I need at least one for my X-Men team.

Too true on that. I dont have anymore SHS Beast figures. My last one had 2 left feet, so I sent him off to a friend that needed the base figure.

Oh man, I am so excited about Secret Avengers and I really like this custom you're doing! Any chance you'd sell it, or one like it?

Deodato is amazing on pencils. This feels like a continuation of Dark Avengers to me, especially because of the covers. So Dark Avengers with a better writer.

I guess I could make a second one (once I finish the first - have yet to complete the first one). Its really a simple custom. The hardest part was finding the lower legs and head.
