| Hey gang, quick question. I just got the new wave of MU figures from BBTS. I picked up a case of 12. In the case are two Winter soldiers. Both of my Winter soldiers have long hair (but the pic on the back and the art show him as short hair). So which figure is considered the variant? |

| Long hair is the variant, not short. |

| That's what I think too. The only images I've seen of Winter Soldier in the comics is with short hair.
But hey, it could be a running change too. It seems odd that in a full case, both WS figures would be the "variant."

| So far, anyone that I've read/heard of getting Winter Soldier(either single or in a case), it's been the long hair version.
Hasbrotoyshop also has a case up for presale, and it has 2xlong hair pictured. |

| Color me confused. Well, the short haired version has officially become my variant as I have the two long hairs but don't let the HTS picture fool you. The BBTS case comes straight from Hasbro in a Hasbro sealed box. The picture of the figure on the packaging is short hair and the art work is short hair. Also, all of the pics up until recently I have seen were of the short hair version. But it is odd that in a case of 12 both of mine would be the long hair version.

For some reason, I was trying to go by the carded pictures and ignored the loose pictures.
Whoops!
So they're exactly identical except for the hair piece, then? |

| Maybe comic shops and online retailers are getting the long hair version and everywhere else will get the short hair. |

| Either way I think I'm gonna get both. And then make long hair bucky his KGB days and short bucky his SHIELD/FURY days and repaint the star on his arm |

If you get the long-haired one, it's still the short-haired figure on the back of the cardboard.

I'm seeing the Wolverine with new head sculpt only in my local comic shops. And I finally, for the second time ever, saw the glossy Red Hulk at one the other day too.
