My favorite show, Radiolab has a podcast on what it means to be human and how it impacts Marvel action figures!
Mutant Rights - Radiolab Listen to the other shows too- it is simply the best hour of anything you can do while hosing around online! |

Radiolab? That an NPR show?
If so, then I've heard a couple of their programs, but I never know when my local station has them on.

Yes, they're played on NPR- bu you can lisen to and download any of their amazing programs at their website for free.
I'm actually going to see them live in Miami on Febuary 1t and am crazy psyched! For new listeners, I'd also reccomend the War of The Worlds show, talking about the famous radio show Orsen wells did and how several times after that the same gag caused mass panic. Radiolab produces these amazing programs of stories and science, but they also do short podcasts between episodes 9which is what the linked Marvel related show is). |

I've listened to the WotW program near halloween, like two or three years ago. Was great. Radiolab is a program I greatly enjoy.
However, due to living in a rural area with bad quality phonelines, my net connection is less than the old 56K. So anything like that, or youtube or anything even remotely interesting is beyond my reach.

Ah. that sucks. call your local station that you heard it on- they can give you the airtime.
Sometimes Radiolab and this American Life (another great show) get swapped as their seasons tend to be opposite, letting stations keep just an hour of airtime saved for both. Tell you what, I have all their stuff downloaded- PM me with your mailing addy and I'll send you a DVD with everything. |

I appreciate your offer, that's really kind of you. But you don't have to do that.
I'll add it to my massive to do list, when I finally have the option of upgrading. "Hey! Have you seen this one youtube video?!? It's AWESOME!!!" "Yeah, we saw it ten years ago, when it was relevent." "I know! But I finally got DSL!" "Where've you been, the eighties? Internet is beamed into our brains now, through blutooth." "...I know... they don't offer that here."

When does Radio Lab air?
I usually listen to NPR while I drive and I'd like to try to catch it if possible.

radiolab is syndicated, so when it airs is entirely up to your local station.

Wait, wait... Don't Tell Me!
The best one was when they were quizzing Bill Clinton on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. BBC America actually recorded the year-end session, and broadcast it on TV. They've been replaying it quite a bit. If you have that channel, might wanna keep your eye open. My favorite shows are that, Diane Riemes, Prairie Home Companion, Car Talk, and Think! (A local show, simular to Diane's, but less politics)

I download them and listen to them at work- I must have thirty episodes on my computer by now! the Diane Riem Show is awesome- the friday news roundup in particular. I love her and she takes no shit from her guests if they try to spin something! Heard her nail a guy supporting Fracking the other week and laughed my ass off in the car! In the evenings, they play On Point with Ken Ashbrook and it's the best politics show on radio- the only annoyance is that it's recorded earlier than it airs here so I cant call in and tell some of his guests to blow it out their asses! LOL! Funny taht we're NPR fans- I wonder what the demographic of toy collectors break down on such things. |

I like NPR because I like to feed my brain. I mostly just listen to it in the car. I listen to the news the most because I like to know what is going on.
