Quantum Mechanix's Stargate SG-1 F-302 Strategic Interceptor Fighter and Goa'uld Death Glider.
Well not really a review, but more of what these two look like together. I was very pleased with the F-302, being a big Stargate Fan, I liked to see this fighter being shown in combat with the Goa'uld or against the Wraith. Now that I've gotten the Death Glider, the only thing I wish the F-302 had were pilots in the cockpit would have made it look good. The Death Glider has the 2 Jaffa pilots as it soars over a stargate and ruins. It's a Really good looking piece for sure and if you already have the F-302 it's a great addition. Front View,Just a really good looking piece for sure. Worth the price and with the shortage of Stargate Merchandise out there it's a shame that Quantum Mechanix hasn't released more ships. And here we have both ships, the F-302 and the Death Glider. They look impressive next to each other. I would love for Quantum Mechanix to release other ships like the Puddle Jumper, Wraith Dart, and a Goa'uld Cargo Ship would be nice as well. If you already collect the Diamond Select Stargate Figures, this just adds even more awesome to your Stargate Shelf. The Death Glider has a heavy base compared to the F-302's base and both just look great in any sci-fi fan's collection. |

Collection Update 11/29/10 The Battle Star Galactica.
Well here we have the old Revell Model of Galactica that I got recently that was already assembled. And the Titanium Ultra Galactica. Both ships look great, I like the Model though only thing I don't like is the stand which makes it wobble if you touch it. Galactica Side View, looks good for sure from this angle,as you can see the Titanium Ultra is small compared to the Model which I think is about the size of the large SDF-1. Rear Views [almost the same view as if you were a Viper Pilot coming in to land] Overall, a great addition to any Galactica Fan's collection. Looks great with other Sci-Fi ships and vehicles as well. The Titanium Ultra is great too only features the extendable hanger pods. |

Collection Update 11/29/10 Stargate Atlantis
Here we have the Stargate from the Series Stargate Atlantis. One thing I have noticed about this gate is how one half of the gate is lighter colored than the others. To get the gate as usual like the SG-1 Series you had to buy all the figures. Compared to the SG-1 Gate, this one looks much better and was easier to get. Unlike the SG-1 Gate, which rotated in the series the Atlantis/Pegusas Galaxy Gate system's gates used lighted up Cheverons to indicate when the Cheveron was locked in place. The backside of the gate unlike the SG-1 gate has the details of how the gate looks in the show. And here we have all the released Stargate Atlantis figures I've been able to get. The Rodney Mckay figures to me looks like he had a really bad shave or something on his chins. Sheppard's figures are my favorite ones, though Ronon Dex was an instant favorite. |

Figure Review 11/29/10 Xenosaga Kos-Mos
Well here's currently my FAVORITE Xenosaga figure of them all. The Xenosaga Episode III Kos-Mos Swimsuit Figure. Another figure I'm glad I got when she came out. Love that pose, just looks sexy in that pose. She had a Scuba Diver's Knife on her foot but that got broken accidentally recently just putting the blade back on....but she looks good without it. I love the Swimsuit, it's nice and revealing but doesn't reveal too much. Like the Alter T-Elos, her hair flows down her back and the way the arms are in position over her head makes it look even better with the translucent hair. Love the little odango style hair covers or whatever you call them. Just an excellent figure to add to any figure and she is quite tall too. |

Here we have the lovely looking Anti-Demon Ninja Asagi Igawa from the Hentai Series Taimanin Asagi. One of my favorite Hentai Series and her character was done by Kagami a Japanese Artist who ranks among my top favorite artists.
Now that's a good looking figure there figured I'd take a good shot of her face since it looks well done for sure. Her hair is antenna like so it would break if you try to move it around due to how much I paid for this figure O wouldn't even attempt it. -I know I'm not that good at close up pics but it's a attempt at least. Here she is full view, I love how she's sculpted and the details of her battle damaged outfit are great as well. Here's her backside, great detail to the suit same on the front. The Detail to her suit part of her arms is great. A great figure, however I got her when she came out that cost about $100 now she's a bit more expensive. Her figure came with 2 posters, which look great too. She has another display base which I need to get out. If only they released an Sakura Igawa[Her Sister and fellow Anti-Demon Ninja] it'd be even better but for now she's apart of my collection and I think she'll be here for a long while because I just love the figure since it looks great! |

Well now that I've been getting more figures in and now time to do more reviews!
Here we have Shining Tears/Wind Series Kureha swimsuit version. Here we have Kureha, from Shining Wind/Tears video game series and the anime series. Her box looks great so if you're in a anime shop and see her pretty much what you'll see on the shelf. As you can see the side shows the art illustration that inspired this figure and you can see what type of packing she is secured inside two piece plastic holder that separates and her base is at the bottom. And here's her box "Back" well not sure if it's a back or not but the other side I guess is what you can say. Here she is out of her package -I gotta do something about better lighting I think with the pictures- I like how her swimsuit's details are done for sure. Looks great right out of the package, after you've put her on her stand of course. Her sculpting and design look incredible, and she's WORTH debating over getting considering she's quite pricey. I love how she has her hands in the pose of holding up the parts of her bikini. Love the fact the hair is detailed a bit more and the design of her swimsuit makes me think she's wearing two swimsuit bottoms. And here she is with the others, once you've gotten her into the collection with the other Swimsuit figures, she's really worth getting once you see these on the shelf all together [and if I can ever find Blanc and Ryuna's swimsuit figures and I am waiting on Xecty and Clalaclan's figures to come out it'll look even better!] Overall a great looking figure, blends in well with the other Shining Wind/Tears figures and makes a great addition to any overall Anime figure/statue collection. |

Well moving on to the next Figure on today's Review List.
Seena from Shining Wind/Tears. Here's Seena's package just which is like Kureha's. Here we have the side of the package that shows the illustration that inspired this one as well. And the side view of the other side of her box. Great looking figure immediately once you get her out of her package, love the details on her bikini top. The details are done really well on this figure just like the others, her skirt can come off but I don't really bother with the cast off stuff she looks great without taking anything off. Unlike the other figures she has a raised foot display where the others you just push into the pegs that are sticking up. And here she is with the others, and she probably is my favorite so far out of the ones I have. She's well worth getting, but like the others she's pricey so even for what you spend on her she's worth it. |

Figure Review 12/1/10 Griffon's Queens Blade Nowa
Well now to the last figure I'll review today. Queen's Blade Griffon Nowa, been needing to get Nowa into the Queen's Blade collection so finally here she is. Front and Back of her package, once you get her out she might fall apart since her hands and can come off [which is for the cast off and to get her weapon in place] Which her weapon you take apart and then once it's in place get it put back together. Her Monkey is part of her arm so it can't be detached. The Pose is pretty good for her, Much better looking than her Megahouse counterpart. And here she is with Alleyne, which is part of the reason to get Nowa if you already have Alleyne since it just wouldn't be right to not have her in a collection with her Instructor. Collection Update 12/2/10 Clalaclan Noir Maid Version
Box front and Back. Once removed from the package she has the usual plastic that wraps between the parts that comes off so basically once you get her out of the package you have to take the figure apart to get all the plastic off. Nice looking figure, was on sale at Big Bad Toy Store so I picked her up to go with the rest of the Shining Wind Series figures I have, now to find room for her on the shelf or I'll put her with the other maids I have by my keyboard. |

Figure Review 12/3/10 SAMUS!
The heroine from the Video Game series Metroid that up till now we haven't had much figures for but finally she's here and in figure form. Box Front, Sides, and Back the box itself is very sturdy, and since Samus is a heavy figure it's good that they've packaged her well. This is what you'll see as soon as you open this box eager to get Samus free from the package. Her Stand is VERY heavy, and that's what makes most of the weight in the box, once the plastic is removed from around Samus after removing her from her position in the box she'll be ready to be put on the stand. It'd be cooler if the stand would light up like some of the promotional pics show but it doesn't. But the stand is heavy on the underside it'll have some information about the figure and what number it is out of the production run. Samus connects to the stand with this single peg pretty much put it in the hole and Samus is ready for display Gotta love that Zero Suit..... An essential MUST HAVE for Any Metroid Fan or Samus Aran Fan, the figure is stunning in person and you'll have to pick one up if you can since it's a limited figure and pricey now. |

Figure Review 12/13/10 Shining Wind Xecty Goddess of Wind
Well here she is! Probably Xecty now is one of the taller figures I have now in my collection! Shining Wind Xecty, Goddess of Wind! This figure is an instant favorite for me, the sculpting and pose of this statue are incredible, when I first got her out of the box she was shipped in I was SUPRISED at her size. Box Front and Side Art, the figure based on the artwork illustration done by Tony Taka is on the sides. It's a LARGE box so that will surprise those of you who have yet to buy any larger sized statues. This figure to me is more of a Statue due to it's origins being from an Art Illustration thus it's a 3d version of a 2d piece of art. Posing looks great, I love the sculpt's details to the lines of the clothing and how it wraps around the base. The Base is cool too, looks almost like blown glass or something like that.... I like how the clothes of the statue are done, very detailed. This figure is indeed worth the $50+ It sells for in my opinion, when you get this one you'll probably have to get the Elwing Goddess of the Forest statue to go with it. |

Figure Review 12/13/10 Shining Wind Elwing, Goddess of the Forest
Since she just arrived Via UPS now time to Review Elwing. Box Front back and the side art... Also neat little thing too- Putting the Elwing and Xecty box sides together shows the illustration that inspired the two figures. Her size is the same of Xecty, her clothing is just as detailed as Xecty's is. The base is pretty much the same as Xecty's statue, but I love how the clothing looks as if it will melt into the base. The sculpt and detail put into the figure are very well done. The hair detailing is done very well. Front and Back views, this figure like Xecty's is stunning to see in person unlike the pictures on the internet that don't do it justice, you are better off getting her to go with Xecty. Together they look incredible, course you'll end up shelling out over $100-$150 to get these two so best to find them on sale. Though for those of you who are die hard collectors of the Shining Wind/Tears series figures these you don't want to miss since they'll look incredible together on the shelf with the rest of the figures from the series. Kotobukiya has done a great job on these figures and I'd have to say it's well worth the money spent on them. They're great pieces of art as well, so it's more than just a figure it's a great looking statue. |
