Hey everyone, thanks for looking. This is my first custom action figure, as the title states. When I started I wanted to try my best to make a faithful MGS4 Raiden custom, but being a novice, when I started to it I realized it was a big undertaking. So instead, I took advantage of the really well done Reactive Armor and painted up something of a hybrid of 2 and 4. Here goes:
For now I consider this complete, but I may add sheaths to his belt later. Last edited by scarecrow; 09-12-2009 at 02:44 AM.. |

This came out really awesome. Incredible job for your first custom. I'm impressed. What head did you use? Now you need a Solid Snake to go along with him. How about a naked Raiden variant?

Tri-Gate Creations Main Page - Home I also got a Naked Snake/Big Boss Head, but it's huge, almost Breaker sized, so I haven't gotten to making the body.I may not customize one at all, and just use the new Airborne(a.k.a. Rollbar) body. A naked Raiden variant would be hilarious. That part of the game is really great.. But I had enough trouble getting the right gray-ish skin color for his face, I'd hate to have to do it for the whole body Thanks for the kind words Ludo, glad you liked it! |

Awesome job, if you get some more free time I wouldn't mind you adding a trenchcoat so he's ready to duel with Vamp and the Gekkos.

I think a ROC Cobra Commander figure's upper torso would work very well to do such a thing. |
