This is my ritual altar to the Dark Lord of the Sith, Vader.
I was just bored one night and thought I'd come up with "Vaderism." Remember where you heard that first! The Dark Lord is housed in a display case suitable for altar statues. With ritual items such as glass chalices that are filled and other offerings. As well as 'altar guards,' Commander Cody and General Grievous, one on each side of the altar. They're all Lego® Buildable figures. Because "Vaderism" is new, the ritual altar is work in progress. I am planning to add a life-sized Lightsaber as an accessory that the "Vader Priest" could wield around during a ritual ceremony while invoking the spirit of the Dark Lord through the Dark Side of the Force. UPDATE: I cleaned up the cluttered look of the original altar. And now it looks so much neater. Also updated Vader's stance to a more "knight-like" posture with the downward pointing saber and the upward facing head. Planning on getting a Rebel Alliance stuffed toy to serve as "Voodoo doll" on the altar! ADDITIONAL UPDATE: Added a ritual "lightdagger" and Mantra of the Sith. This is pretty much it for a basic Ritual Altar to Lord Vader. ^-_-^ Last edited by Octopus Crime; 01-31-2016 at 05:41 PM.. |

Promoted both Commander Cody and General Grievous to god-status on the Vaderic Ritual Altar. To form the 'Space Trinity.'
Love how I pose General Grievous like the Hindu god Vishnu. I am also adding Symbolism as we go along with 'Vaderism.' You will notice that each one of them is now looking in a different direction, and all their weapons are pointed in different directions as well (Commander Cody is looking straight with his rifle pointing to the middle, Lord Vader is looking up with his saber pointing down, and General Grievous is looking down with his saber pointing up). Characters may only become 'Space gods' in Vaderism once they're officially dead in the Star Wars cannon. Hence the ritual altar for conjuring their 'spirits.' |

Lightdagger
I said in my first post that I was planning on adding a Lightsaber as an altar accessory – something the ritual performer could use during ritual ceremony. But it turns out that a lightsaber would be too big for my ritual altar which is basically comprised of 8” figures. The size of the lightsaber would take center stage away from the figures. So instead of using a lightsaber, which is basically the size of a sword, I decided I would be using a “dagger” instead. But it cannot be an ordinary ritual dagger. This is Star Wars after all. So it’s a “Light-dagger.” I am currently using a green lightdagger because I couldn’t find a red one. That would suffice. Mantra of the Sith Another addition you would notice on the altar is what looks like a note. That is actually the Sith Code written in Sith language. And is recited by the Vader Priest (the congregation repeats after the priest) during ritual ceremony to Lord Vader. Midi-chlorian Elixirs The two chalices on the altar that are filled represent “midi-chlorian” elixirs. The Dark Side is a pathway to many abilities. Some considered unnatural. One of the chalices contain elixir that could bring the Dead back to Life or could keep your Loved ones from Dying. The other could bring the Living to Death -- but not just any ordinary death. It causes its victim to relive his/her death over and over and over again. The Star/Space Trinity In Vaderism, Lord Vader should always be the central god on the Vaderic altar. And he cannot be replaced with any other character. That is why it’s called Vaderism. But the two “supporting” gods (the ones by his side on the altar that make up the Space Trinity) may be replaced with any Star Wars characters, or may even be removed altogether. |

Garden of Padme
Another variation of the Vader ritual altar set up is what I call the Garden of Padme (due to the notable presence of flowers). If there was any love in Vader it was none other than Padme Amidala. The flowers represent Padme and were what she loved. But Padme didn’t love Vader, she loved Anakin Skywalker. So under this altar setup it is a MUST to have an Anakin figure next to Vader. In my example I have an Anakin Minifigure. Call to the Light Almost automatically, when the altar is set to “Garden of Padme,” the Midi-chlorian Elixirs are replaced with a White Candle -- for if there was any light in Anakin, it was Padme. Yesterday we conducted the first ever in the world ritual ceremony to Lord Vader. And this was the way the altar was set up. I couldn’t believe that this was all happening! Indeed, Hail Vader!! ~Vader High Priest |

Talisman of the Fallen
Seen on Lord Vader’s display case here is a talisman that is ‘Cybertronian’ in nature. I call it the Talisman of the Fallen. Hasbro did release a Star Wars - Transformers crossover toy line sometime back. This is a nod to that official toy line, and a reaffirmation of such a ‘Shared Universe.’ We may never truly know the exact nature of relationship the Empire had with the Cybertronians. But Lord Vader did pilot a transforming TIE Fighter and a transforming Sith Starfighter, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away! Even Unicron, during that period scanned and took form of the Death Star! The Talisman of the Fallen is made of metal (and cannot be made of anything else) to symbolize Cybertronian Metal – metal that makes up the Transformers, and is used to call upon the ‘ghosts’ of the fallen Transformers. The Talisman is also the embodiment of the element Metal on the ritual altar (the others being Candle for Fire, Elixirs for Water, Lightdagger for Air, and the Parchment Paper containing the Sith Code, for Earth). |

I was seriously just bored one night and decided to come up with the ritual altar idea. And it just sort of started coming together on it's own. Perhaps it was the Dark Side at work. Bug Fix
I like the pun. I like it when I called it that because it sounds like software fix. But it is a workaround to the ritual altar for people with bug problems at home. Water will attract insects like ants because they also need to drink water. Flowers, after a few days, will attract ants as well. So if you have bug problems at home like ants, it is best not to fill the Midi-Chlorian chalices with water when you plan it to be idle on the altar for days. Instead use Vodka or Gin. Same thing, fresh flowers may be substituted with plastic ones. The First Vader Pope I am now also officially the ‘first’ Vader Pope as the founder and high priest of this religion (if you consider it a religion at all). Will post more pictures soon. Hail Vader! |

Black hooded clothes and Star Wars villain masks must be worn by everyone at all times during group gatherings. This is me in my “Papal Attire” as the First Vader Pope! Love my Hasbro mask! Vader Pope Unleashed!! |

Lol
Just found a creative (or for some weird) way of showcasing my Hasbro Star Wars toy mask. I could have just taken a photo of the toy mask and say ‘hey this is what I bought,’ but I wanted to have more fun with it and make the presentation fit into the ‘ritual’ theme that we already had going in here. The last pic could be hard to understand for many. But it’s a continuation of the toy showcase because of the toy mask. I just presented it in an unconventional way -- a little too unconventional.
