Is that a smaller Leo in the last picture next to Raphael?

THESE ARE FANTASTIC! I already have Donatello on pre-order. I would love to know when the others will be released. Does anybody have any idea? I will put them on my list too when they become available. Curse NECA for the trickle of pictures! They look great though.
I also found these online of the figures Last edited by Bearjew; 09-27-2016 at 07:29 PM.. |

Why? The Bay TMNT are fine. expecially in the 2nd movie, they looked awesome. I've been a fan of TMNT since the black and white Mirage comics days, and I'm not about to dictate adaptations. I never had a problem with black leather x-men costumes, Prime's flames, etc. I don't want every version of the different characters to be identical. Where's the fun in that? I don't want to see the same look and story over and over and over. How many times have we seen the death of Thomas and Martha Wayne? It gets tiring. Letting TMNT look like teenagers instead of nudists wearing belts was a good idea to stress their individuality, promote their personalities, and also shows their desire to "fit in" with human culture.

It's based on an old trading card error. A pretty obscure reference.

They do look great. But add me to the list of people who don’t want them because they’re too big. 7" versions would be absolutely fantastic, I would buy all four.

Exactly, I don't want 1/4 scale figures dominating my room - no matter how cool they are. Unless there's a licencing issue I can't imagine why there won't be a regular scale release.

I hear what you're saying, but the Bay Turtles look like hobo monsters...just saying.

If only these were 1/6. They really are doing an amazing job with these figures.

There is a licensing issue, hence why they are doing 1/4 scale figures and only allowed to sell the 6" stuff for cons.

In a year where some of the best action figures to ever be produced have been released consistently month after month, and countless pre-orders for Marvel Legends, SH Figuarts, Star Wars Black, NECA and Mezco figures have absolutely decimated my budget, these Turtles figures have immediately shot to the top of my most-wanted and most-anticipated list. Every new photo that trickles out just keeps getting better and better. These look insane, it's hard to believe that they are actually action figures and not Jim Henson puppets taken directly off of the set of the film. NECA is absolutely killin it!

I couldn't believe it when I saw the black and white photo of Donnie they posted to twitter they other day. If the articulation at the knee had been hidden better, I would have said that it was a shot the movie costume. Raph was my favorite growing up so it's good to see that he's at least getting released second instead of last.

I was really hoping the packaging would suck...because I wanted to display the figure outside the box. The box looks fantastic so now I will want to leave it in the box.
