Do they all come cross eyed? It's SDCC 2017 all over again...

It's an astonishing figure otherwise, but yeah...those eyes. And every one I've seen is like that. I was hoping they would fix it after the early pictures came out, but nope. They're all cross-eyed and looking upwards. What a bummer.
Also, isn't the Shredder figure a little under-sized when compared to the turtles? *EDIT* Guess not! Last edited by Dolemite; 06-28-2019 at 09:18 PM.. |

I hope the 7” shredder isn’t cross eyed. If he is, he’s being posed with Donnie’s bo striking the genitals. Otherwise he’s an awesome figure. I think Neca did an amazing job with the line. I wish Neca would get the license to the 90’s mortal kombat movies. Would love a Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa Shang Tsung figure.

We can all be happy that they got Cary to be Shang Tsung again for MK11 because I doubt anyone gives a crap about marketing the movie. It's easier and almost definitely more profitable to stick with the games for merchandise.

Next year is the 25th anniversary of the first movie, so I could see it as a possibility. They make figures for crap much worse than mortal kombat. The first movie was actually quite successful. Pan’s labyrinth gets figures, it was a mediocre film. Made for the same amount of money as MK, only did $83k boxoffice compared to Mortal Kombat’s $122k. And before you start waving the indie flag, Pan’s Labyrinth had a huge marketing push leading up to it’s release.

Secondly; I don't think NECA even can get the license since McFarlane already has MK for domestic figures. What they've announced has just been for MK11 but I doubt that the license is segmented per project so I don't think any other company can just take the parts they want (like singling out just the movie). If we get movie figure for MK they're coming from McFarlane or Storm.

Whoa whoa whoa. You’re definitely entitled to your opinion, but calling Pan’s Labyrinth mediocre is nuts. That film is a masterpiece.
Exactly. It may not have set the box office ablaze, but it has certainly endured and will most likely continue to stand the test of time. |

Snip. Not worth arguing over a mediocre movie.
