This did look great in person; but it's the kind of thing that you'll probably pose once w/ the poster and probably never touch again. I liked it a lot so I'll probably pick it up but I've got a lot going on on the Godzilla shelf. Will think about it.

Yeah. I feel like articulation is unnecessary with this guy. You can basically put him in the poster pose and then superglue the joints. It's a neat idea but a pretty easy pass for me.

I am buying a couple. I have a thing for well painted figures. Love the NECA VGA stuff and this appeals to me heavily.
Rambo was my favorite VGA figure because of that paint. This might topple it once in hand. |

I love this. I like a good painted figure too. The more unique and intricate the better. Yeah this will look great with the movie poster but it will also look good and stand out on the shelf lined up with other figures. It will be a good contrast with the black and white figure. I cant wait to get this one.
Now if we can just get a 1933 movie poster King Kong to go on the shelf with this it would be PERFECT! Last edited by Bearjew; 12-17-2018 at 08:02 PM.. |

Very cool! Love the included poster. I’m sure some will just write this figure off, but keep in mind that the other 1954 Godzilla is black and white.

Very cool edition, and love the 3D aspect with the packaging. NECA is so good at coming up with unique angles on well-known characters to make them fresh (must buy!) again.

While it looks cool as a gimmick, it's not a gimmick I'm willing to pay for. Love the packaging though.

More I stare, more I am in love with it. Massive love for this piece. Man....it's so pretty. All the colors are so vibrant and eye catching. Some really nice contrast.
I love well painted stuff. It just catches the eye. I am slowly abandoning my legends for bigger pieces and in this case so colorful. It stands out so much and catches the eye. I cannot stop looking at pics of it. And that flame effect has some real good use of colors. Just amazed by this piece. It's fun pushing the envelope and seeing what someone can create. This piece by NECA is why people get into the biz. |
