I love these. That's the kind of retro stuff I can get behind - continuing old lines with characters that came after the line ended. Not making every character ever in styles that don’t even fit them like that Reaction craze.
This is fun and I like it. I can see myself getting a lot of Predators from this line. Aliens not so much, but Preds definitely. They're already starting off strong, Berserker looks great and I'm thrilled that they include the mask too. I hope this does well enough for them to do more, I really want to see the likes of Scar and Wolf done in this style too. |

Love this stuff, pass on that stupid Neomorph though. Couldn't they have chosen a more "regular" Alien to start off with

Grid is probably the closest we could get, a warrior alien but with the net pattern on the head. The rest is pretty much new creatures, like the Predalien from AvP2 or the Deacon from Prometheus. Did Kenner do the Dog Alien? Maybe that could be how they get a drone Xenomorph in this line. But maybe they will just make "movie" versions of the regular drones and warriors and label them as being from the newer films. |

Which ones could they do? Legitimate question, I don't know. If the concept is that only creatures / characters that weren't around during the initial Kenner run are chosen, then "regular" Xenomorph Aliens are already out.

I don't know WTF either of them are since I stopped watching, but I'm getting them on principle. I want more 5.5 everything. Now make me a Kenner Ferro to fly my EVAC Fighter.

Original Aliens arcade was Konami. Alien3 Gun was Sega.

Just these for now. I guess they could conceivably add Terminator figures to this style at some point.

Good for those interested. Yes, the neomoprh with a big old inner jaw is an odd thing to lead with. And I do question if there's that a big a market for retro 90's Kenner-style. I mean, that was the decade McFarlane showed up the major companies by upping the action figure game in detail and paint.
All this retro stuff, but no retro GI JOE (factory customs aside), because Hasbro sucks. No other retro figures in vintage o-ring style probably because it costs more than 5 POA stuff. Give me the colonial marines in o-ring...not some $30 a piece fragile 1:18 scale, but honest to goodness toys. |

I think for modern figures with a vintage flair I'll try and get my hands on LANARDs take on Aliens...
