NECA's Announcement looks awesome (more pics in link)!
"She stands over 15" tall and is over 30" long, with over 30 points of articulation, including a spectacular poseable tail.I hope it's okay to post this here - I was surprised when I didn't see it anywhere else on the forums. More proof that NECA owns the adult collectibles market. BBTS has pre-orders at around $95, hopefully it's not so much at retail or eventually goes on sale.

I am shocked it is not more than a $100 with them charging so much for the Predator Blade Fighter vehicle. BBTS is pretty spot on when it comes to what retail is on NECA stuff. I still like the more black and grey overtone of the McFarlane one I have, but this one will be more movie accurate with the blue and bone color undertones. This means they have to unveil Riply w/flame unit at SDCC right?? I know the Alien Riply in spacesuit is coming, but did they not show the prototype Power Loader at NY Toy Fare???

This Queen Completely NUKES the SDCC 2014 Glow in the Dark. It's like SDCC officially SUCKS with exclusives. They're not even trying anymore...just with the tag they think they're winning. Awesome Job Neca

I had the huge Alien Queen from McFarlane years ago & now I'm supposed to be suckered in again to buy the same exact thing I already had? Why would I buy the same figure over & over again? Where is the logic in that?
This is why I like Transformers. Even though the box says "Megatron" or "Optimus Prime" the figure inside is completely different than any other version. I'm not wasting my money on the same figure over & over again like Batman, Alien, Predator, Spider-Man, or Ninja Turtles. |

And my friend, the AMAZING En Sabah is right... different toy, different company...bigger better badder-er er. If you got a log cabin in 1987 why would you want a mansion in 2014.... I already had a house! I digress.... hope that didnt offend. All that aside...she looks cool! Wish i collected them, because she is the business!!!

This looks far superior than the MacFarlane version, which I sold off on Ebay a few years ago. I don't mind buying this again, given how much better this version looks, along with the fact that I know I'll finally be able to display it with Ripley in her powerloader. I'm assuming we'll finally get to see Ripley unveiled at SDCC later this month.

This looks really cool, but is $100 cool? It is really tempting, but I really don't see why this is $100 when the Godzilla is only $50.

A valid point. This is only 3" taller and 6" longer than the 24" long Godzilla, reasonably that shouldn't account for around $50 difference. My only guess is that maybe the base mentioned is the egg hive with the large egg-sac, that would make sense for a $50 difference, and make it that much cooler. Just a theory.

I'm sorry, but WHAT?! Did you just insult the queen by comparing her to that AvP garbage?

Love the pics, but frustrated at the same time. Reminds me of the old GI joe pack in catalogs showing heroes and villains on elaborately build sets that look really cool... Then you buy it and sit it on your underwear dresser and it's not remotely as awesome. This has an amazing look, but after seeing the pics of the dark corridor with alien hive everywhere, I can't stick this on a shelf. I would be depressed. Think I'll save the pics and $100 at the same time...
Sorry neca, but you over-awesomed yourselves. |

So is this her correct color? I'm just trying to figure out since the warriors are brown but she seems to be just straight up blue.
