Gorgeous.
I like how in Chopper's bio they try to give him some credibility and even a touch of character. Celtic is my favorite of these three and I absolutely want this figure though I don't think these will actually be out until right around or just after Christmas, we'll see. Celtic's mask is a very cool homage to the original Jungle Hunter mask and I have become rather fond of how he actually behaved like someone new to the hunt as he was very headstrong and aggressive. Also of the three Celtic actually had normal wrist blades.

They all look great, but man, that Celtic Predator beats 'em all. He looks so awesome.
BTW, no alternate masked head for Scar? Or will that end up being a re-release of some sort down the line? Sweet pics as usual, BTW. |

No mask for scar. Wouldn't be surprised to see a masked variant at some point when they need a third figure to fill out a wave.

I'd bet since series 15 will also be AVP that masked Scar will show up there alongside Temple Guard and (insert predator here). I hope the third isn't the elder or whatever he was called with the stupid freaking cape.

^^ That would be amazing.
I just noticed that Celtic only has armor on one of his hips. Is that a mistake or is that just how it was and I never realized it? |

Huh never noticed that. It's been a long time since I watched AVP though.

Awesome!!! I have to have these! Celtic and Chopper look sick, Scar is not too bad either.
I'm definately wishing that Scar had the mask, but I guess they needed an unmasked Predator in this series. Considering that Masked Scar Predator is on the packaging, I'm sure NECA will release one soon. Really great photos! |

One thing I have noticed that nobody's pointed out...the lines connected to the biomask that typically connect to the Predator's backpack are hanging free from the mask. You can spot them on both Chopper and Celtic. That screams QC issue to me. Were these broken out of the packaging, or do they plug in somewhere and are removeable? I'm hoping that this won't be an issue when searching through them in the wild. |

Ahh okay...I missed it before, but now I can actually see where they plug in on Celtic Predator photo 10, just underneath the shoulder armor's plate. I mostly collect these carded, but I might end up modding those or cutting them off altogether if I open them up. It bothers me seeing them dangle like that, and gives me bad flashbacks to the old McFarlane Predator figures. |

Shame you cannot swap heads with the older figures. Truthfully, Scar's mask is really not all that different from the Jungle Hunter or Scout Predator's (from the Lost Predator clan). The only major difference is the length and volume of the dreadlocks, and the acid burned mark on the helmet.

Why does Chopper have closed hands but also weapons?

The hands are interchangeable in the wave, so you can swap hands with one of the other ones if you want him to hold the weapons. It's listed as a negative in the review, though.

You might only buy Chopper, or not want to cannibalise one of the others just to make full use of Chopper (this is all sounding so wrong lol). |

Joe, could I request a pic of the AVP preds next to a regular predator? I'd like to see exactly how much taller they are.
