Hopefully they eventually do the 1985 version of Doc in white radiation suit to go with this figure and not just have us settle for the 1955 version we're getting. And the 2015 version is a must as well to go with the 2015 Marty. I'm worried NECA will quickly give up on this line after the figures we've already seen are released. They aren't well known for doing toy lines long term outside of Predators and Aliens.

Looks great. Feel like they should've given Tales From Space Marty the Vulcan Salute as an extra hand.

They're blowing through two different TMNT lines right now, so I don't see that being a big issue. The other thing is basically none of the figures that have been released or announced go together at all.

1985 and 2015 Marty - no other 1985/2015 figures at all

1955 - Tales from Space Marty, never saw Doc in that costume and they're never going to make a George.

And 1955 Biff never met 1955 Doc, so they really need to fill out some characters here.

I was wondering is that hand copywritten? The back of the box literally says alternate hands are included, but none inside.

There’s a lot of figures in the works. Right now, Crispin Glover is the only actor they confirmed to have declined to participate. So it’s safe to say we’ll get BTTF 3 Marty, Doc, and Mad Dog soon. Guessing we’ll see sleazy 85 Biff if the line goes a few more waves. Holding out hope for Jennifer with both actress portraits.

The painted skin with fleshtone plastic hands just looks weird...

Really dig them so far. Faces seem a bit heavy, but nothing major to keep from a buy. May grab standard Marty for the rando shelf here.

I couldn't agree more. I'm pretty bummed they didn't do that. Having a Vulcan Salute hand is a no-brainer.

Dude's a super-flake. He and Carl Weathers should go start a "no toys of me" club or something.

Geez, if Bret Hart can reconcile with Vince McMahon, you'd think Crispin Glover could do the same with Robert Zemeckis and Universal.

Seems like Zemeckis/Gale hated Glover more than the other way around.

The paint is a little rough up close, and I must say those pictures are amazing!! But with that said, in person they look just fine.

I can't believe how well they captured Doc's facial expressions! I hope Christopher Lloyd gets to see this new Doc Brown figure. ^^

the doc box cover looks weak. that's not gonna pop on a shelf at all
or give any idea to the consumer what's inside. bad choice there.

this marty is more of a true 1950s marty which you need for that doc, so in that sense it's necessary.
the vest marty is pure 80s (life jacket lol)

and how do you not remember the the disappearing hand scene it was scary when i was a kid. it's like one of the most high stakes moments in the series

That's not at all what I said. If it came across that way, then I'm sorry for the confusion. The disappearing hand scene happens while he is playing at the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance, and he's wearing a tux. The figure is not a reference to that scene, but to the Battle of the Bands audition and (somewhat) the photograph he has in his pocket. The Battle of the Bands audition is the scene that slipped my mind.

I picked this up today in store, paint looks better than on my regular Marty, so that helped make the decision.
