The coolest thing in this picture is the Christopher Reeve Superman 1/4 scale tease seen in the top row of images. The best and only Superman to me.

If they are making a Reactor Blast Gipsy figure, then that means they must at least be considering the Cat 5 kaiju Slattern??? Right ?? and most likely the other Cat 4 Raiju??
And showing 2 sculpts of the Mohawk Gremlin??? If they do not do the Female from 2 that they already have the prototype of, then why bother. |

I think the blacked out Predator on the bottom right is the one from the Dark Horse #1 cover
I'm half sure the P2 next to it is from the Sega Genesis Predator 2 game,

Edit: NECA actually did post a better picture of just the Genesis Predator 2 figure the other night, here it is.

Right on Chris Reeves....I would love a George Reeve also...but hoping for a Nan and Ursula.
Even a Nuclear Man would be awesome....so excited. Hoping to see the rumoured Hulk from avengers in quarter scale and I am still holding out hope for my Lou Ferrigno/Bill Bixby figures at some point! THe Pacific Rim figures are incredible...just got the Gypsy with the Skip and the articulation is SICK!!!!!!! |

My biggest hope is to see NECA put out a 7" scale Reeve Superman to go with my Keaton Batman. Love the 18" stuff but I just don't have the room for toys that large.

Seeing this really gives me hope for an Alien 3 Genesis release sometime in the near future, which was also done by Arena games. (That game was also MUCH MUCH better than Predator 2, especially the SNES version...) That said...I really hope they get rid of the window pane boxes like they used for the RvsT series, and take it back to the flap packaging featured with the other video game figures. |

Yes...Genesis Predator for the win! I had this game, and it was the epidemy of bad movie licensed games. Insanely difficult and uglier than hell, bout the only thing this one had going for it was epic amounts of blood and guts, something the SNES was just not able to put on their machine at the time.

They normally aren't allowed to, so unless DC has a change of mind or they find some loop like they did with the Batman bluray then I wouldn't get too ready for a 7" Superman.
Christopher was Reeve and George was Reeves. I'd want Zod before his cronies. You're welcome. 16 bit dog alien would be cool with the blue/teal game colors. I'm fairly sure that since this will be a single release, and not part of a series like the RvT figures, they will use the same style of packaging as they have for all classic game figures. Agree on Zod...but I have a 12" Zod from Mattel which is excellent imo....I would lover all 3 in the 18" scale..... Dare I hope for an unmasked Bruce Wayne....I love the Neca teases....cannot wait for the Toy Fair! |

It's a very common thing to forget which Superman actor had the 's' at the end of their name. As of now NECA hasn't said anything new about Michael Keaton Batman and they still don't technically have Keaton's likeness, they have said though that a Bale Batman is likely next in 1/4 scale. Who knows maybe due to the bluray bundle's success they might get his likeness, but for now it's not likely to happen.
You heard anything about a Caesar Romero Joker or even a Rambo/Rocky Quarter scale? I was hoping for Rambo or Rocky to join my Quarter Scale Dutch! I know those ROcky figures flew off the shelves in the 7 inch scale! |

I haven't heard anything about a Romero Joker. I remember at a convention once they had a Rambo that looked like a 1/4 scale figure but it turned out to be a paint-master or something like that and the actual release was just a 7" scale figure. If you have a Twitter account you can shoot questions to NECA and Randy usually tries to answer as many as he can, but he is just one guy so he doesn't get all of them answered.
The 18" Alien looks promising....I guess I should have gotten some 18" Predators. |

I only joined to ask NECA questions, that's pretty much 99% of what I use it for. Just that and how sometimes you have to sound off or vote for something like what Hasbro did at comic-con this year.

i like being able to inspect the paint on figures before i get them.. i can't do that with the flap there and them being wrapped in plastic.. i could take the plastic off in the store, but that would just feel wrong. now.. if TRU took the wrapping off themselves, then i wouldn't mind either packaging.. but the way it is now, i prefer the newer style. i wish neca would box all of their figures.. the blister bubbles are my least favorite packaging, i absolutely hate them. the card and bubble that they use with the predator figures isn't bad.. but i prefer boxes. also, i spotted the new alien figures today which looked rather nice in person.. along with koba and luca.. they were very tempting, but i'll pick them up later, if they ever restock. |

I prefer the book-style flaps as well. The packaging looking like the old video game box art is some of the biggest draw for me. With them being plain window boxes, they don't really feel like part of the same line.

I prefer the bubble as cardboard is super expensive...i think that's what makes legends 5 to 8 dollars more than they should be.
Either that or Hasbro is playing us for fools. I prefer Neca keeps the packaging cost down to save their fans money. Bubble/blister is the way to go. |
