AWESOME shots! I really love this set. Also, the jaw on the split-head Ed is also articulated.

I like this set but my alternate Ash heads look more like giant papier mache heads someone would wear in a parade haha

I'm debating on whether to get this or more predators.

Great shots! You actually managed to make the more stern faced head on Ash look pretty damn nice. My personal favorite is the new pissed off head though. As for the chainsaw bar being soft, I don't consider it a con myself since it means it will bend before it breaks. Just heat the bar in boiling water to soften it and then hold it straight and run it under cold water to keep it straight. Worked fr me anyway.

I can totally see NECA making a Mike Harrigan figure using Evil Ed's mold with a new head, hands and feet. Doubt it'll ever happen, but one can dream...

On my example of the Ash figure, the chainsaw part completely separated from the wrist attachment as soon as I tried posing it. It can be glued back in place, but it was a bummer that it happened on a figure I waited so long to get.
I hope NECA gets around to making some Army of Darkness goodness, there are SO many versions of Ash and tons of Deadites from that movie that would be killer toys. A "normal" version of Evil Dead 2 Ash would be great too (before he goes nuts, loses his hands and his clothes get all torn and bloody)

Love this set. And it's one of those where the box is so cool it pains me to throw out (fortunately I have the old DVD tin set with the same image).

My only concern is the plastic used for Ed's waist/butt/pants. It is a really soft, rubbery plastic. Is anyone else worried about it drying up and breaking?

Those are the same pants and "diaper" NECA has been using for a few years now, most notably on Freddy Krueger and Burke from Aliens. I have all of those figures and I think they'll be fine. Well, maybe in 30 years or so, they may break down a bit, but really no different than any rubber capes or the like.
