I only have the NES Robocop from NECA, and that on its own is a great toy. This looks like a good way to get Robocop, who isn't easy to come by. Unfortunately it's from the horrible third movie, but as a toy this looks quite good.

My thought as well. The movie wasn't so good, but look at that face sculpt. What a great likeness of Peter Weller! On this scale, at this price point, really well done. I want this. Rgds

Despite the fact that the movie is abhorrent and I want nothing to do with the jetpack or gun arm, that cobra assault cannon is really tempting.

It's actually funny that you point out the likeness. NECA doesn't have Peter Weller's likeness rights, but only using his lower face minus chin doesn't count as needing them, so only character rights were needed for use. Fun fact, and the reason we don't have a domeless Robocop from NECA.

That is interesting. Wonder if Weller knows his jowls are public domain! LOL
Ideal would be a removable faceplate, but maybe next time...! |

Finally, we're getting a RoboCop 2* with the RoboCop 3 jetpack and the Cobra assault rifle from RoboCop 1.
*It's Weller's lower face, and the same suit was used in both sequels. |

who cares if it's from robocop 3. you can take the jetpack off and it comes with that awesome gun. robocop 3 was better than 2 anyway.

I'm not sure if I'd like 3 much more had Weller reprised his role, but this figure is certainly a step in the right direction. |
