Great looking figure with fantastic pictures as always!
I do have a question though. How does this predator compare to the series 16 line and the series 15 predators? I saw online that there seemed to be some size differences in the series 16 line and the scar AVP movie predators. The Scarface predator looks to be more in line with the AVP movie predator size and body molds. Also I have the Series 14 unmasked Scar Predator and the head looks to be almost identical to that head sculpt and mold with the exception of the eye scar marking. Can you tell me how close they actually are? (Since you have them in hand) I couldn't seem to find any photos online with the series 16 and series 14, 15 together. This predator looks great I am looking very forward to picking it up. Last edited by Bearjew; 11-07-2016 at 09:08 AM.. |

Thank you so much for the info. I really prefer the AVP line sizes. I wonder if they will go in that direction in terms of size, if they will continue to mix it up, or stay with the smaller figures?
I had forgone the decision to pick up the temple guard, celtic, and even chopper due to the new figures coming out but I may have to go back and grab those and watch for these bigger figures. I preordered the series 16 I guess I will decide after I have them in hand. |

Pretty interesting actually. I looked back at the pictures and it appears that city hunter will be of the smaller line while the Elder (cape) and new clan leader will be on the the bigger frames like the AVP line. This guy is great though. They really did a good job with the look.

I would imagine that just like humans, Predators vary in hgt with some males being 7 footers & others being 8 footers. Even Aliens vary in hgt depending what species they came out of. I believe that Celtic Predator in AVP was taller, bigger & stronger than Chopper & Scar.

I love it. When is this due hit stores?
And let me make sure I got this right...I thought that they were using the new AVP Predator body for the Jungle and City Hunter figures...but they're not? Instead, they updated the original Jungle and City Hunter figures with additional articulation? If so, that's cool, because it gives them a number of options for figures going forward instead of using the one new body type over and over. |

I'll be double checking Ghost (who is essentially the Ultimate Jungle Hunter). I can't tell from my pics. The armor is so much smaller and the others taller and bulkier, it's hard to say for sure. I could have sworn I heard they updated the original sculpt with the new articulation, but I may be mistaken.

Cool. BTW, thanks for the warning about the fragile spear gun. I'll be extra careful removing it from the tray. I assume you lifted it from the bottom and the spears at the top snapped off when they pressed against the tray?

I actually press the weapons out from behind the tray, to avoid that kind of issue. But the gun was in there snugly it took some extra force to remove it. Next thing I know, I hear something rolling around in the tray and I see two of the spears snapped off.

Geez. Now I'm worried.
What I usually do is use my thumb to push in the little plastic nubs that hold the accessory into the tray so it almost falls out on it's own. Hopefully that'll do the trick. |

Must have. I actually enjoyed the game back then.
