I feel your pain man. If I was still a barista, I'd be missing out on all these deals. I have a desk job now so I can sit here at my computer and have a better chance, but I was buried in paperwork and logged on at 10:02 and the Turtle set was already sold out. So if a desk jockey like me missed out, I feel bad for everyone who has a job they can't just hit pause button on and go online shopping. Kinda wish they just did full production on this and the SDCC exclusives were just variants/repaints of previously released figures. Oh well, not like I can afford everything I want anyway, but I hope you end up being able to get what you're after. I'll try again tomorrow and most likely fail but I'll try just the same!

I refreshed at 12:56 and saw that they were live so I managed to get my order in and my email confirmation at 12:57. At 1:00 pm I refreshed again and they had sold out. Watching the Fb comments it looks like a lot of people got screwed when they chose the paypal option and ended up burning a lot of time logging into that, only to return to the checkout process and find their cart empty. That's why I'm glad I had my cc in hand and ready to go.
GL to all still trying for a Turtles Set. |

picked up two dutch figures. Considered the turtles but i bought the game sets last year and just tossed then in the garage after taking a few pics. If these were colored classic comic styled figures though i wouldn't be able to say no- i guess the toon just want my thing

I'm so glad I didn't have to resort to murder to get a TMNT set, though no jury in the world would've convicted me!

Man, people on Facebook are losing their shit over NECA's SDCC pre-sale.
Personally, simply signing into PayPal and making my purchase took waaay less time than if I had to put in a credit card number, expiration date, security code, shipping address, etc. Instead, all I had to do was just type in my password (your name, shipping, and contact info are already there when you use PayPal) and I was in and out in no time. The only thing I'm calling bullshit on is the $12.62 shipping for Dutch, but otherwise I don't see what NECA could have done differently. Pretty much all e-commerce works like that...the item in your cart isn't actually yours until you've paid for it. |

It keeps the item in your cart until you either pay or the time expires.

Yes, they went up right at 1:00 today, and I snagged a set. Looked like they went in under a minute today.

Was able to just get mine, was refreshing from 9:55 and it didn't pop up until 10. Then told me due to high traffic that I was in line and to not refresh my browser after going to check out. Luckily it worked, hopefully everyone that wanted this was able to get it today!

Man I had the set in my cart and checked out at 1:01 only to get the message that the set was already sold out!!!
I don't understand why it makes you wait to checkout if you aren't going to get what is in your cart... |

Yea same. I got ridiculously luckily today, seeing that it sold out in about a minute. I even had to punch in my credit card info because I didn't log in with paypal. I feel bad for those who still missed out. But there should be another sale tomorrow, I think it was supposed to go from 6/20 to 6/23, but the 6/23 sale day was cancelled because they sold so many yesterday and now today. Hope you can get this tomorrow.

I feel like the shipping is pretty reasonable at $12. I bet if I bought something this size from Mattel or Hasbro the shipping would have been nearly double.
Now I just have to cross my fingers that my set has decent paint and the figures won't break while I'm removing them from the package. I'm a little skiddish about Neca figures because I've had 4 of my Alien figures break on me while I was trying to pose them. I will definitely have my wife's hair dryer on hand whenever I handle these Turtles figures. |

Glad to see more of you managed to grab some today
I'm still waiting for the shipping restriction to be lifted so I can order a Sewer Mutation Alien, lol. Hopefully the restriction will be lifted quickly when the event ends! |

Is it just going to continue to say sold out until the sale is live again? All the info I see is that they will open orders again today. I just happened to check on when these were going live since I had heard nothing from friends. Glad I checked. I was two days late already. Hopefully I can grab a set. I love these.
