Well weren't these listed as pre-orders to start with so shouldn't the expectation have been that they wouldn't be shipping out until later? I've definitely had a lot of pre-orders take more than just a month to finally arrive so this isn't a horrendous wait. Also it may be that they would want everybody who can get them (people who pre-ordered online and people who are attending the convention) to get them at around the same time as opposed to all pre-orders arriving well before the people who had to buy tickets to SDCC and then wait in line at the convention.

If NYCC exclusives are anything to go by, these will ship the week following SDCC. Conventioneers will have them for a week at least before they start shipping these to the non-attendees... So expect these to arrive to you the first week of August.
For those interested in the NYCC Foot set, I'm parting mine out to make room. Click the eBay link to see these. Excellent opportunity to army build.

That's perfectly understandable. Any time I order anything from anywhere I want it to arrive as soon as possible so I can actually have it and know that it's okay, patience be damned.

Just got this email from NECA concerning the shipping schedule for people who pre-ordered the SDCC exclusives...and it's good news!
Quote:
Dear Customer,
We’d like to update you on the shipping schedule for your NECA 2017 Convention Exclusive purchase. Although we originally stated that these would be shipping AFTER San Diego Comic-Con (which takes place July 20-23, 2017)… good news! We will be shipping the Convention Exclusives earlier, so that they will arrive as the show opens. |

Does anyone know a customer service number for Neca? My TMNT set just arrived and Raphael's Bandana Tie is missing from the back of his head. This is exactly the kind of thing I was worried about, poor QC. Thanks!

Using Twitter is best for NECA. I don't know who exactly manages the account but they have always responded to me fairly quickly. The account is @NECA_CS and if you send a tweet they should respond with instructions to start figuring it out. There is a cs form on their official site but Twitter is much more direct and responsive.

I would definitely recommend using a hairdryer on the TMNT figures before you try to move any of the joints. I had a handful of joints that were completely stuck. So far, Mikey's left shoulder pops out really easily and the plyable chest part was accidently glued to his right shoulder restricting the mobility of the joint. My case was mashed up on one end too because there is no padding on either end of the case inside the shipping box. The only piece I'm missing is the Bandana Tie for Raph. I doubt I'll be buying any big ticket items from Neca again. |

Thanks, but I don't use Twitter. I've never Twat anything before. Ha! I've sent a couple of emails and haven't gotten a reply yet. That's why I was asking for a phone number.

FINALLY got my replacement Leonardo head with corrected face paint. Was a BEEEEEYOTCH to swap out. the head peg was lodged tight in the head, and no amount of heating or pulling was going to get it out!
Finally I just said F it, and took my wife's gardening shears and chopped the old head in half, and the ball joint popped right out! Getting the new head on was almost as big a pain. Again, no heating of the plastic seemed to work. I wrapped the head in layers of plastic wrap, laid it on my workbench, and hammered the neck join into the head. Took a few WHACKS! til I heard a bullet-like pop and the neck joint seems to have finally gone all the way in. Not quite sure if I should be grateful to NECA for outstanding build quality, or pissed at them for the hour it took to separate and reconnect! Oh well... at least it's done now.
