Oh boy here we go. I will try to get those, depending on how much of a pain it is to get some shipped to France.

Awesome. Hopefully they'll do the arcade figures again! That said, I guarantee within a few months there will be an insane amount of opened Raphael and Michelangelo figures on eBay.

Still not available outside of the US I assume?

I know why, I just want to know if it changed or not.

US, and possibly Australia. Those are the only territories their license covers.

"if sales of these sets prove popular, it opens up the chance for additional releases like this!"

Come on Neca...now you're just patronizing us.

The only bummer about these is that there's no way to pre-order them at the moment due to them being Target exclusives. Hopefully BBTS, Dorkside or another online retailer will get these somehow eventually. I would gladly pay a couple of extra dollars for each set if it meant avoiding the headache of trying to find them in the wild.

Most of the NECA sections in my local Target stores have been generally good, however I am starting to notice some backlog with the ultimate figures, most notably all of the different Freddy, Godzilla and Jason figures lingering on the shelf, many of which were picked up by collectors when they initially dropped. I have only run into the Bad Blood two pack once (thankfully I didn't need it) Stripe once as well, and have yet to run into the Golden Angel Predator still, so I am hoping these will be pushed a bit harder, because I can see collectors and scalpers alike fighting over these things in the aisle, especially where Shredder is concerned...

Can confirm we get the Ninja turtles here in Australia. We just get them a little later than the US and they're not exlusive to Gamestop (eBgames in Australia).

I tried to preorder from popcultcha and it says that it's a restricted product.
So we must admit the fact that us europeans (i'm from France) will never get those damn figures.
It's really not smart from neca, we're customers too and they seems to don't care about us the EU market.

It's the license. They'd release them everywhere in the world if they could.

I have SH Figuarts as my cartoon turtles but the way they packed these I guess I'll be getting the NECA ones. I just wanted the bad guys really. I had thought maybe they'd do 2 turtle 2 packs and then 2 bad guy 2 packs, but I guess they realized they'd sell more doing it this way. I guess I'll see how they are in person.

I don’t think it’s them. It’s the way the rights work. Someone else can explain it better.

Best bet, find a friend in the states. I use to do that with someone in th UK.

NECA's license for TMNT only allows the figures to be sold in the US and Australia on a restricted basis. They've said many times on Twitter and Facebook that if fans want these figures elsewhere, then another company would need to pick up distribution rights from Nickelodeon and Playmates in those areas.

I know that it's a license problem but it doesn't seem that they make so much effort to make these availables in Europe. They could at least try to negociate with the license holder in Europe. Which could be the problem, I think.

They only says each time If fans want them someone need to buy the license. I know but us as simlple customers what can we do? Nothing

$25 per figure retail... but would be nice if buying a 2pack got you a slight discount- maybe $45 and then release individually at $25ea.

$25 is about the norm per NECA figure. Most of the Neca Target pieces are $27-$30. Besides, TECHNICALLY, it's about the same price as Marvel Legends or similar scaled figures.

You could always wait and hope for a clearance deal, if you think these will last long enough on shelves, or pay with a Redcard and save 5%.

The arcade Turtles are still my fave NECA release of these molds, but there's no denying it'll be hard to pass these up this time around.

Probably should have switched Leonardo and Donatello. Donnie regularly gets quoted by fans as being the lowest-selling Turtle, and packing him with Krang doesn't really add a whole lot of box value.

I kinda wish they could be sold individually, but this is nice. At the very least, I'll get the Leo/Shredder two pack. There aren't enough 1988 Shredder figures in the world(that are accurate to the cartoon).
