That photo of the two characters side by side at the top of this thread reminds me of American Gothic. Somebody hand Arnold a pitchfork.

These are very flattering sculpts. I imagine them as part of a better movie that could / should have been made ~20 years ago.

VashTS nailed it (above). All the sequels post-T2 were duds, but this 'Dark Fate' is like straining boiled water through a used tea bag.

These figures look too good to pass up. I'm buying them as an homage to the movie that never was.

Nice looking figures. Funny how the Arnold figure comes with a head sculpt with the sunglasses on when he doesn't even wear them in the movie. Also I'm hoping we get a Grace figure.

Ok, so now that it looks like the franchise is gonna be dormant for a while, I hope Neca goes back to making stuff for '84.

The Terminator has never really been a U.S. box off heavy weight, so I have no idea what they were thinking by sinking this much money into the film. Word is they needed a $450 million worldwide total to break even. A roughly $30 million U.S. opening is pretty much spot on for this franchise right now, especially after fans got burned with Genisys.

It’s on track to lose 120 million dollars at the box office. That being said it’s actually not a bad film at all. Way better then Genisys, salvation and T-3

Dear NECA,

Instead of trying to push figures from a failed movie, please work on the pistons and joints on the Endoskeleton and release the corrected figure to us. Please also apply to the 1/4 scale Endo and release that to us as well. Thank you.

Signed,

-Everyone

There's nothing wrong with my Endoskeletons structurally, and I've got three. It's a complaint I hear all of the time but it never struck me, now a complaint that transcends QC and is just rooted in the design is that they can't stand for shit on their own because of their tiny feet and little ball heels.

And the fact that they only have ankle swivels, that shit hasn't been used since early 2000's DC Direct figures!!!

I hate to say it, but the big flipper feet from the old McFarlane T-800 worked way better.

Nice looking figures, a shame the movie was a disservice to the fans of T2 in general. The franchise should have died after T2 in the first place.

I loved the movie, and don't see how it hurts T1/T2. The events in those movies still have impact.

I love watching the Terminator films on streaming services or the occasional tv airing, but none of them are "theater worthy" for me, especially at current theater prices (for an evening at the movies, not JUST ticket prices). The trailer of this looked interesting, which I haven't said about a terminator film since #2.

The toys haven't wowed me, much. Shoulda made Linda Hamilton compatible with the Golden Girls dolls. Make a stop motion film: "Grammas Vs Smarthome tech"

You should be dragged out into the street and beaten for saying such a thing. T1 & T2 were awesome.

These are a “maybe on clearance” type of purchase for me, and based on the lac of interest in this movie, I will definitely get my chance to buy them for cheap next year. Seeing these go on sale now... NECA is in a tough position, I’m sure that if they could go back they would never make these. They couldn’t get them out before the movie bombed, and when it did these were already being manufactured. I would honestly be more interested in a Rev 9 figure, but a second series is pretty much off the table. I liked the movie okay, it can’t touch the original two but might be better than anything done since 1991. I think it could have been a hit in a world where Genisys hadn’t happened, where good will hadn’t been squandered and story points like Arnold returning as an aged T-800 helper and a twisty new origin for Skynet weren’t immediately being retread.

Wasn't until seeing that portrait sculpt that it occurs to me how good it'd work as a Cable custom. Wonder if Arnold would have been a good casting in another universe. I might grab one down the line to make that
