Woah, great job on the faces there. If that translates to production that is impressive.

These Sarah and T-800 figures both look WAYYY younger than they do in the movie trailer, where they both look pretty elderly. But I'm actually okay with that, 'cause the figures otherwise look great and can probably be used in a variety of different displays.

Both of these are really good looking. I passed on the original Sarah as I didn't care for the headsculpt, but I actually think this one looks more like Linda Hamilton than the previous one, so she is on my radar.
I hope the head from the new Arnie works with the previous Arnie Terminator figs, cause it looks great. Head swapping all the different looks is one of my favorite things about them. No matter how bad these movies continue to spiral downhill, I can't stop picking up little plastic figures of Arnie and co. These two will be no different. |

Why does Arnie look younger than he does in Genisys? Admittedly never saw Genisys haha

My only issue is his hair and beard should be gray. That is, if it's the same time period that we saw in the trailer. Something more akin to what I've attached. Otherwise, I'm pretty good with the sculpt.

We must be getting pretty nitpicky as collectors to complain about those sculpts. They look phenomenal. What a leap from what we saw 15 years ago.

Genisys was such a trainwreck...but it was fun in it's own way. It is so bizarre, confusing and out there that it comes off like a piece of fanfiction. |

Gonna have to disagree with you, buddy. I thought the headsculpts on the Ultimate T2 Sarah Connor were spot-on to Linda Hamilton. |

Not interested in the movie in anyway but definitely gonna pick up that Arnold if the production figures end up looking as good.

Agreed with many. Terminator is dead.
I view movies like this in today's era. Fans must now choose when a franchise ended in their minds. Franchises were never meant to be universes. In my head, T2 was it and that was the end to me. This movie looks to be another political hit piece seeing the trailer. Star Wars was 4-6, and 1-3...and that is it. Same with Aliens and Predator. Modern movies are not for me. It's simply for those who for lack of a better word(s), follow a narrative that is pushed upon them. The toys from NECA looks well done, but just not my cup. This will be the first NECA Terminator figures I do not plan on getting.....but again, they look phenomenal. |

Nobody said the sculpts don't look good. They actually do...the likenesses to Arnold and Linda Hamilton are pretty amazing. But they both look, like, 20 years younger than they are IRL, for some weird reason.

These figures look so legit, plus I I’ve the look of those accessories. Personally I think all the major heroes and villains in the Terminator films would make for great action figures.
I hope this set is followed by a Rev-9 2-Pack or something because The look of that robot/ Gabriel Luna looks pretty figure-worthy as well. No matter what people say about the Terminator movies, like Alien or the Predator franchises, a lot from those films would make for great toys. I know NECA would never do it, but the Genisys T-3000 robot and the T-X from T3 Rise of the Machines in both human and Terminator form would be both marketable and great additions to their Terminator library. |

As for the T-X you can find the McFarlane release of her on the aftermarket for a reasonable price. These scale well with NECA figures. |

I'm totally of this mindset...the matrix, highlander, robocop, terminator, etc are all one and done affairs in my mind. I'm completely fine with that and don't need ongoing franchises of shitty sequels, prequels and reboots to keep the flame burning for my love of a particular movie. If one or two awesome movies are all I'm going to get, then so be it.

Anyone else think it's kind of funny that Neca has put out a collection of elderly action heroes. We've got old Arnie, Linda Hamilton, Bruce Campbell, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Harrison Ford. It's a shame that they said that they aren't doing Creed or the new Rambo because we need geriatric Sylvester Stallone to complete the set.
Actually, I'd love to see someone do a diorama of our heroes with canes, walkers and wheelchairs slowly chasing senior citizen Michael Myers, riding a mobility scooter, down the halls of a retirement home. |

This movie is out now, and I haven't heard anything about these figures in months. Any idea when (or IF) we can expect to see them?
BTW, the movie was surprisingly pretty good, despite the re-tread plot. *EDIT* Nevermind! NECA revealed figure galleries and packaging shots on Facebook today! They're coming soon! Last edited by Dolemite; 11-01-2019 at 09:01 PM.. |

I'd rather have these figures late than never, but I wish NECA would develop the ability to release movie tie-in figures BEFORE the film in question releases instead of after. I mean, there's not even a release date set yet, at least not on NECA's November calendar.
In related news, the movie has officially bombed. It's s shame as it was actually very solid, especially compared to the other post-T2 sequels. |

If there's an issue at the factory with something on the line ahead of these figures, then that pushes back everything else that's scheduled to go on the line. It's the reason why most companies give large release windows when a collectible is announced. There's just no way to guarantee that a figure hit a target date these days.

Yeah, I guess it's tough with all of those variables in play. I gotcha.

Wow. That movie bombed. Too bad. I still want these figures. Sci-fi is taking a back seat lately. Only marvel movies and real killer films (purge,Halloween, joker, etc) are doing much it seems. As for neca, I don’t think they have ever had new movie toys at its release. They seem to rely on the cult status of a film to keep interest on their product. Not good news for these terminator Figures.
